Wings of Broken Time by Alina Das 481
Chapter 481
“You bitch, Honora,” Hendrix spat, his face contorted with rage. He raised his hand and struck her across the face with vicious force. “You don’t know, do you? You’re nothing but a bastard! I’m sterile. I never told Calista, but then she turned up pregnant. God knows which one of her sleazy lovers is your real father!”
The words struck Honora like a bolt of lightning.
“Your mother switched you with the Judson family’s real heiress for two reasons,” Hendrix sneered, spitting on the floor. “One, to give you a better life, and two, because she was terrified I’d find out she cheated on me! If you weren’t still worth something, I would have strangled you years ago. But tonight, I think I’ll have a taste of what your mother made with some other man.”
A tremor of fear shot through Honora. She struggled desperately, trying to break free from his grip, but her strength was nothing compared to his. He overpowered her with ease.
“Don’t think I don’t know what you were planning,” Hendrix said with a cold smirk. “You were going to have someone take care of me, weren’t you? Make me blind and mute so I could never threaten you again. Am I right?”
Honora’s eyes widened in terror. She couldn’t believe he had seen right through her. “The only reason I played dumb was because you were still useful,” he continued, his voice dripping with greed. “Twenty thousand a month–that’s not a small sum, is it?”
Honora’s body trembled like a leaf in the wind. ‘Please, let me go,” she begged, her voice cracking with despair. “I can still make money for you. You can sell me to anyone you want, just… just don’t you touch me.”
Hendrix laughed dismissively. “Make money for me? You think you’re still the so–called genius of Regal City, the precious Judson heiress? Your face is ruined. What rich man would want a worthless, disfigured piece of trash like you?”
No matter how much she fought, the inhuman beast on top of her wouldn’t let go.
An hour later…
Honora lay on the sofa, as still as death, her face a mask of emptiness.
Hendrix slowly climbed off her, casually pulling up his trousers and whistling a self–satisfied tune. The sound was piercing in the stale, foul air of the room.
“A young body is something else,” he muttered to himself as he buckled his belt, a smug grin on his face. “Not loose and worn out like that old hag Calista.”
His words were daggers, twisting deep into Honora’s heart. Her body trembled slightly, her eyes burning with a mixture of despair and rage.

Chapter 481
“You know, you just gave me an idea. I can still sell you,” Hendrix said, his voice laced with greed. “Your first time might be gone, but you’ve still got a good figure. You can bear children, and some desperate fool might pay a handsome price for that.”
Hearing this, the hatred in Honora’s heart intensified.
“Until I find a buyer, you can just keep servicing me,” he said, his appetite clearly not yet satisfied. “As long as you keep me happy, maybe I won’t have to hit you-”
Suddenly, his voice stopped.
His pupils dilated in shock, as if he had just seen a ghost. A thin line of blood trickled down from his hairline, tracing a path down his forehead.
