“Even though I have the chance to meet Mr. York at gatherings occasionally, I wouldn’t intentionally try to flatter or ingratiate myself with him, but I also wouldn’t dare to offend him. Despite his naturally cold and aloof demeanor, he is a reasonable man. He wouldn’t create difficulties for us without reason.
