Married at First Sight Chapter 572

Chapter 572
Setting down his pen, Josh stood up and approached the window to take a look outside. He observed the paparazzi who had been stationed outside the company entrance since the previous night and muttered, “They certainly have the patience to wait this long. Honestly, all it takes is for Zachary to flaunt his relationship, and the community is shaken to its core.”
Well, it only rattled the community. The missus remained unaffected.
Zachary had done an excellent job of protecting her.
While everyone in the office had seen Serenity, no one dared to speak about it.
The York family stayed silent, refusing to disclose any information despite the relentless questioning from reporters.
“Do you know who Mr. York’s wife is?” was the first question on the lips of everyone in high society today.
Business clients chimed in on the gossip after closing deals, trying to uncover the identity of Mr. York’s bride.
Josh felt annoyed.
Since he was best friends with Zachary, many attempted to extract information from him.
Although Josh knew the most, he remained tight-lipped.
After making the revelation, Zachary casually returned to his work, treating the situation as just another day in business.
After work, Zachary, accompanied by his security team, went to have a meal at Wiltspoon Hotel. True to form, he called Mr. Zen to deliver a selection of Serenity’s favorite dishes to her.
Additionally, Zachary asked Mr. Zen to pick up a bouquet of flowers from the florist to accompany the meal.
The only surprise for Zachary was encountering Clive at the hotel entrance.
The Stones owned their hotels, and Clive and Zachary were business rivals, which is why Clive typically avoided Wiltspoon Hotel.
However, today Clive was there with clients, likely due to their request for a business meeting to be held at

Wiltspoon Hotel.

As two prominent CEOs encountered each other at the hotel, both halted in their tracks. Behind Zachary was his security detail, while Clive was accompanied by several key executives and secretaries. Each exuded a commanding presence.

The entourage accompanying the CEOs ceased their movements when the two leaders stood face-to-face. Clive’s gaze immediately fell upon Zachary’s left hand, where a ring adorned his ring finger. However, it was not the gold ring that Zachary had showcased on Facebook.

Noticing Clive’s attention, Zachary openly raised his left hand and extended it toward Clive for a closer inspection.

“I heard you shared your relationship on social media, Mr. York,” Clive remarked.

“You’re quite well-informed, Mr. Stone,” Zachary replied.

“It’s hard not to notice when it’s so widely publicized. Did you switch rings, Mr. York?”

Zachary lowered his gaze to his wedding band and explained graciously, “My wife thought the gold ring wasn’t very appealing, so I replaced it with the Eternal diamond ring.”

Clive grinned. “Your wife has excellent taste.”

The Eternal diamond ring on Zachary’s finger was quite expensive. It seemed Mr. York’s wife had a penchant for fine jewelry, suggesting she hailed from a wealthy family; the question lingered: which family was it?

Clive was bursting with curiosity and silently grumbled about his rival.
