Married at First Sight Chapter 1004

Chapter 1004
At that moment, Audrey and Mrs. Dowling heard the commotion and quickly emerged from the house.
Mrs. Newman, reluctant to confront Audrey directly, opted to apologize to Mrs. Dowling and swiftly departed the scene, dragging her daughter along with her.
Once the chaos subsided, Camryn expressed her gratitude to Serenity and Elisa.
She was puzzled as to why they had chosen to help her.
From her mother’s shouting, Camryn learned that one of her saviors was Mrs. York, who had been the subject of much discussion in Wiltspoon lately.
She hadn’t anticipated that Mrs. York would be the type to come to her aid.
In truth, even without Serenity’s assistance, Camryn had her own strategies for escaping such situations.
Living under the oppressive control of her stepfather and her mother, who was just as cruel as a traditional stepmother, she had been quietly gathering evidence…
Camryn would not have survived this long if she hadn’t possessed a few tricks to rely on.
Concerned, Serenity said, “If they try to cause you trouble when they return…” She was uncertain whether her words would intimidate Mrs. Newman.
Camryn replied softly, “They’ve never truly managed to get the upper hand on me before.”
Serenity’s lovely eyes sparkled with understanding.
Finally, she said, “Well, take care then.”
“Thank you,” Camryn replied, grateful once again to Serenity and Elisa.
With calm determination, she moved forward, using her white cane to navigate her path.
Only then did her clerk feel confident enough to approach and assist her.
Before long, Camryn left the Dowling residence on a motorcycle.
As the evening wore on following the disruption caused by the two Newman sisters, many guests began to depart one after another.
Audrey took her daughter and niece to say their farewells before leaving.

She initially sent Serenity back to Brynfield without mentioning a word about her daughter and niece assisting Camryn. Zachary had received a message from his cherished wife long ago and was waiting for her at the entrance of Brynfield. When Audrey’s car came to a stop, he approached her first, greeting her warmly before opening the car door for her like a gentleman and extending his hand to help her out.

“Aunt Audrey, would you and Elisa like to come in for some tea?” he asked.

Audrey smiled and politely declined. “It’s late, so we won’t go in. Please hurry and take Serenity inside, Zachary.”

“Goodbye, Aunt Audrey,” Zachary replied. He had only asked out of courtesy, knowing Audrey and Elisa would likely refuse since it was quite late.

The young couple watched as Audrey’s car drove away before they walked into the neighborhood hand in hand.

“Seren, you look so beautiful today,” Zachary said.

“Am I not beautiful any other day?” she teased.

“You’re always beautiful. To me, you’re the most beautiful woman in the world.”

Beauty is indeed in the eyes of the beholder.

“Zachary,” she said softly.

“Hmm?” he responded.

“I might be in trouble.”

Zachary continued walking without pause. “What happened? Tell me how much trouble you’re in so I can help you fix it.”

Serenity laughed lightly. “Don’t worry, it’s nothing serious. I just offended a few people.”

With a mix of fondness and authority, Zachary replied, “Even if it’s serious, I’ll find a way to help you resolve it. You don’t need to worry about offending others; the only thing that matters is that no one offends you.”
