_ILITHALAMI RALEHLATHE _

I’m so disappointed at Luminjalo right now, I made sure she get married to the wealthiest family her all she do is to just thank me with what? I sighed in frustration, Kagoyarona is also pissing me off, thinking about his useless daughter who now is married to my daughter’s husband.

I was trying to look up for my daughter, trying to build her a brighter future since she was bright at school, she even failed matric.

“You know Kagoentle left without saying goodbye”. Ohhh God, I just rolled my eyes as I put our clothes inside the suitcase, I’m pissed I had to pretend to be happy yesterday.

The storm brewing inside me was about to unleash its full fury upon Kagoyarona, and he was foolish enough to stand in the eye of it. I glared at him, my anger and disappointment simmering like a pot about to boil over, the steam of my rage threatening to scorch everything in its path. How could he not understand? I was trying to secure our daughter’s future, to give her a life of luxury and comfort, and he was more concerned about his own precious Kagoentle? The very thought of it was laughable, if it weren’t so infuriating.

I threw a handful of clothes into the suitcase, the sound of the fabric rustling against the floor like a slap to his face, the sharp crack echoing through the room. The suitcase was a symbol of my frustration, a tangible representation of the mess that was our lives. I was trying to pack up the remnants of our dignity, but Kagoyarona just stood there, calm and unruffled, like a rock in the midst of a hurricane.

“You know, I really thought Luminjalo had more sense,”

I spat, my voice venomous, the words dripping with disdain.

“I made sure she married into one of the wealthiest families in the land, and this is how she repays me? By falling for some nobody and ruining her life?”

The memories of all the sacrifices I’d made for our daughter, the late nights and early mornings, the countless hours of planning and scheming, all seemed to be for naught. And now, Kagoyarona’s precious Kagoentle was reaping the benefits, marrying into our family and securing her own future.

Kagoyarona’s expression was infuriatingly calm, his eyes cr crking with concern, a condescending smile playing on his lips.

“Hau Lili, what wrong?”

he asked, his voice dripping with condescension, like he was speaking to a child. The very tone of his voice was an affront, a reminder that he thought he was above me, that he thought he was the one in control.

I turned to face him, my anger boiling over, the pressure building up inside me like a volcano about to erupt.

“Everything it wrong Kagoyarona, EVERYTHING MARN!!”

I shouted, my voice echoing off the walls, the sound shaking the foundations of our world.

“Your useless daughter marrying my daughter’s husband, Luminjalo throwing away her future, it’s all falling apart and it’s all because of you!”

The words poured out of me like a torrent, a river of anger and frustration that had been building up for years.

Kagoyarona’s eyes narrowed, a flash of anger finally appearing, the mask of calm slipping for a moment.

“Lili, that’s enough. You’re not thinking clearly,”

he said, his voice firm, but I could see the fear lurking behind his eyes, the fear that I would expose him, that I would reveal the truth about our family and our lives.

But I wasn’t having it. I laughed, a cold, mirthless sound, the laughter echoing through the room like a death knell.

“Oh, I’m thinking clearly for the first time in a long time. And what I’m seeing is that I’ve been played. By you, by Luminjalo, by everyone. But it’s going to stop. Oh, it’s going to stop.”

The words hung in the air, a promise of revenge, a threat of retribution. I would make them all pay, I would make them all suffer for their betrayal.

_KAGOENTLE NDWANDWE _

“ayiboh! Wesisi usalele? Ngalesikhathi ayii ngeke Vuka….Vuka Ntombi ayiboh!!”,

Someone just walked in my room, and didn’t even ended there and started shouting on top of her lungs, now she is pulling my blankets, who the fuck is this devil. I spring up from the bed, ohh it MaShandu,

“umalokazana Wena Lana ekhaya, evuka ekseni uyaclean.a ebese usilungisela okuyangasethunjini, Vuka!!”.

When we talking about monster in laws, she gave me a death stare then walked out. I sat up straight, took my phone to look at time. Ayii ngeke baba, it 6 am njeh? Ayii mina I’m not used to all of this, so now I have to wake up early in the morning, clean for people who have hands and even cook for them? No I didn’t ask this for myself, Ohhh that not all, I also have to wear dresses like no body’s business.

I better wake up here before Mrs Spitfire comes back, I got off the bed. Walked to the bathroom, brushed my teeth then washed my face. I didn’t do packing yesterday, the Gaurds just brought my laugage in here. I took my suitcase, put it on top of the bed, I don’t have many dresses. I guess I have to tell Nhlanzeko to buy me few dresses and I have to reapply to uni for next year. The door opened again, Spitfire walked in holding something on her hands.

“Wear this and meet me downstairs”

She put it on top of the bed then walked out. It looks like we going to a big fight here, trust me. I looked at this….ohh is a pinafore, and thank God to my chubby body, it will look beautiful on me. And I can say Spitfire has a taste coz it beautiful. I wore it then wore my slippers, I wrapped a head wrapper then walked out.

The drama queen in me was already having a field day, and it was only 6 am. I stomped out of the room, pinafore and all, ready to take on the lioness aka Mrs. Spitfire. Spitfire was already barking orders to some of the maids, but they do have maids then why am I needed. I reached downstairs, I stood there looking at her while barking these poor children.

“Kagoentle the house it’s not going to clean it self and you also have to prepare breakfast in an hour”. She said then stormed off.
