Justin and Jason remained unaware that Anthony possessed only half of a magical pill, but Kenneth was fully in the loop.

Kenneth had nearly acquired the pill from Anthony earlier that afternoon. He hesitated to confront Anthony directly, but he had a clever plan in mind. By shifting the responsibility onto the unsuspecting father-son pair, he could comfortably enjoy the results of their efforts while employing a few simple tricks.

His first step would be to create replicas of the pills he had seen earlier. After they kidnapped Anthony, he would search him for the genuine pill and swap it with his fakes. This way, he could not only resolve his own impotence issues but also pin the blame for Anthony’s demise on Justin and Jason!

On the other hand, Justin didn’t dwell on the complexities of the situation.

In his eyes, the enemy of his enemy was his ally. Since they shared a common foe, they could team up, and the more, the merrier. Plus, sharing the risks made perfect sense to him.

Regarding the magic pill, he was uncertain about how much Anthony had, but for him, it was clear that Anthony had to go, as he and his son were furious with him.

So, he exchanged phone numbers with Kenneth and arranged to have a call the following day. After that, he and Jason left the clinic, dragging along the gasoline drums.

Kenneth felt quite pleased with his scheme. He sped back to the Wilson family villa, eager to whip up some cash, mix in some black paint, and mold dough into pill-shaped replicas.

Meanwhile, in another vehicle, Jason turned to his father, Justin, and asked, “Dad, what’s our plan for tomorrow? Are we still going to lure Charlie out and take care of him before teaming up with this guy to eliminate Anthony Simmons?”

Justin nodded in agreement. “Absolutely! We’ll take care of Charlie first, then we’ll grab that magic pill from Anthony and fix your legs!”

“That’s fantastic!” Jason exclaimed, bursting with excitement. “If we get that magic pill, I won’t have to live as a cripple anymore!”

Justin smiled at his son. “Don’t worry, son. I won’t let you suffer forever. I’d even trade my legs for yours!”

Then he added, “Let’s head home and get some rest. Tomorrow, remember to call Elaine and stick to our plan!”

“Alright, Dad!”

The following morning, Charlie picked up breakfast at home. After Elaine finished her meal, she headed out to play cards with her friends.

Elaine was passionate about card games, and whenever she had some free time, she would visit her friends to play.

As she stepped out of the house and walked toward her friend’s place, her phone started ringing.

She glanced at her phone and was surprised to see it was Jason calling. She quickly picked up. “Hey, Jason! What’s up?”

Since Claire married Charlie, Elaine had been focused on one goal: orchestrating her daughter’s divorce from Charlie so that she could secure a match with a wealthy family.

Initially, she had hoped her daughter would marry Wendell Jones, but then the Jones family inexplicably went bankrupt overnight. To make matters worse, Wendell and his family vanished without a trace and were never seen in Aurous Hill again.

Next, she aimed for her daughter to marry Kevin White, but he ended up getting slapped around by Don Albert’s men while trying to help her recover money lost to a scam, leading to his disappearance as well.

A few days prior, she had set her sights on Jason Grant for her daughter, but after he was thrown out of the window during an incident in her husband’s ward, he too had gone missing.

In all honesty, Jason was currently the best option for her daughter’s future husband.

Even though he had brought the fraudulent Dr. Lynch to treat her husband without any success, Elaine recognized that he was also a victim of the doctor’s deceit, so she hadn’t held it against him.
