Married at First Sight Chapter 895

Chapter 895
Elisa asked Serenity, “Seren, would you prefer that he or I take you home?”
“I’ll get a cab myself.”
Serenity decided against letting either Elisa or Zachary drive her home to avoid offending either of them.
Ugh, life was so complicated!
“Let Zachary take you home. I’ve been out for quite a while and should head back too. My mom doesn’t even know I’m out.”
Elisa volunteered to step aside.
She glanced at Zachary, then released Serenity and walked away.
“Zachary.”
She suddenly halted, turned her head, and called out to him. “Don’t pressure Serenity, Zachary! My family will always support her. Don’t think you can bully her just because she doesn’t have a family home to rely on. If you ever restrict her freedom like before, I’ll come to confront you!”
Zachary’s handsome face tightened as he replied coldly, “You won’t get that chance.”
All he wanted was to hold Serenity in his arms; there was no way he would mistreat her.
“Seren, let me know if he treats you poorly. I’ll seek justice for you. Also, Zachary, you need to change how you speak to me. If you don’t address me respectfully, it shows a lack of respect for Serenity’s family. It also indicates that your love for her isn’t strong enough.”
Zachary was left speechless.
He was tempted to curse!
The Stones were all the same.
Clive was just like this too.
Elisa walked away with a smug expression, as if she had just emerged victorious.
“Seren, I respect your family. Elisa is simply trying to create a rift between us. She wants us to break apart.”
Serenity looked at him and replied, “Elisa shared many things about you before you arrived, but none of it was intended to drive us apart. Don’t judge.

you measure her by your own harsh standards again, you’ll only hurt yourself. Elisa is a truly good girl.” After this statement, she took the bag with the topical medicine from his hand, walked past him, and left.

Zachary was eager to find out what Elisa had said to Serenity. He quietly followed Serenity out of the hospital. At the entrance, Jim and the others were waiting. Upon seeing the young couple, they approached and greeted Serenity with respect. Serenity paused but didn’t say anything; she simply continued walking.

Noticing she had no intention of getting into his car, Zachary wore a despondent expression and instructed Jim, “Take your missus home. I’ll head back to the office.”

“Yes, sir,” Jim replied. Understanding that the couple had not yet reconciled, he refrained from saying anything more. He quickly got into the car and drove off to catch up with Serenity.

From a distance, Zachary observed as Serenity finally got into Jim’s car, feeling a wave of relief wash over him. Thankfully, she hadn’t rejected his arrangement.

Returning to the office, Zachary instructed Mr. Chaplin to send all necessary documents to his room. He then locked himself in, prohibiting anyone from entering or interrupting him, even turning away Josh and Callum.

Meanwhile, Serenity returned to the bookstore. With her hand injured, she could no longer create her crafts, so she sat at the checkout counter holding a pen and scribbling on paper. Jasmine emerged with a plate of sliced honeydew and set it in front of Serenity. Taking a seat, she handed Serenity a fork and said, “Don’t keep it all inside. You can talk to me.”

“What else can I do besides running a bookstore and an online store? Which industry would allow me to make a substantial amount of money quickly?” Serenity asked.

Jasmine chuckled, “If

“You’re in luck; you should purchase some lottery tickets. If you win a few million, you’ll have a substantial amount of money.”
“Forget it. I’ve never been that fortunate. A person needs to earn their wealth on their own. It’s no surprise that I’ve always been broke.”
