Married at First Sight Chapter 851

Chapter 851
Grandma May coughed lightly and admitted, “I thought it would come naturally and wouldn’t need to be taught.”
She thought to herself, “A couple learns to appreciate each other through the ups and downs of life.”
Tania was left speechless.
A maid entered the room.
“Old Mrs. York and Mrs. York, Mr. Zachary has returned.”
Upon hearing this, Grandma May hurried away like a startled bird. Her movements were surprisingly nimble for her age.
“Tania, I’m going to my room to lie down. If Zack asks, tell him I fell ill from worrying too much about him and Serenity.”
Tania was at a loss for words. “Don’t blame me if Zack decides to send you to the hospital.”
“I’ll be fine as long as he doesn’t send me to the crematorium.”
Grandma May quickly retreated to her room, lying on the bed and pretending to be unwell.
After resting for a while, she realized she had not heard a knock on the door.
She thought, ‘Is that brat so upset that he doesn’t even care about my so-called illness? Is that his game?‘
Grandma May was unsure whether to stay in bed or go check on what that brat was doing.
What was Zachary up to?
When he returned and noticed his nana was missing, he turned to leave without saying a word.
Tania hurried after him, walking behind and asking with concern, “Are you okay, Zack?”
Zachary replied tersely, “I’m fine.”
“You don’t look fine. Did you not get enough rest? Where’s Serenity?”
“She left with her sister.”

Tania froze and halted. Seeing her son about to walk away again, she caught up and continued, “Zack, what do you mean by ‘she…‘”

“Left?”
“It means she left.”
Zachary finally came to a stop in front of the outdoor swimming pool. He then took off his jacket.
“Zack, have you lost your mind? The weather is freezing! You’ll catch a cold if you swim here.”
Tania chose not to pursue the matter further and prevented her son from jumping into the pool and getting chilled.
“Do you really think Serenity will return if you catch a cold? You two come from different worlds. It’s better that she left. With your qualifications, you can marry anyone you want. I can help you set up a meeting with the daughter of the Levine family. What about the Dawson family?”
“There are so many young ladies in Wiltspoon, and each one is better than Serenity. Zack, you’ve already repaid your grandmother, so she won’t interfere with your future marriage. Just forget about Serenity. Don’t inflict pain on yourself for her.”
Tania assumed the young couple had ended their relationship.
“Zack, just marry someone from a family that matches ours. Trust me, okay? It may be easy for you to accommodate Serenity, but it’s much harder for her to pursue you. The gap between you is too large; she can’t catch up no matter how hard she tries, and she’ll only exhaust herself. It’s alright if you’ve separated. Think of it as freeing her…”
Zachary looked at his mother in disbelief.
Tania quickly rephrased, “Consider it as both of you letting each other go.”
