Married at First Sight Chapter 832

Chapter 832
Before the couple could celebrate, Hank’s boss urged him to return to the office and resume work.
Shortly after, Hank saw an interview discussing how Mr. Zachary pampered his wife.
It turned out that Serenity’s husband, Zachary, was indeed Mr. Zachary York. Hank had suspected this before, but Zachary had denied it at the time.
In the end, it was confirmed that Zachary was truly Mr. Zachary York.
Upon hearing the news, Jessica was consumed with jealousy, envious of Serenity’s fortune in rising from rags to riches.
Previously, Jessica had also felt jealousy when she discovered that Mrs. Stone was Liberty’s aunt.
Jessica spent the entire afternoon feeling this way, which made Hank unhappy.
Serenity’s marriage to Zachary was her own business; did Jessica’s jealousy stem from looking down on Hank?
“Liberty!”
Finally, Hank spoke, bombarding Liberty with questions: “Is that man Mr. Lewis? He just left your house. What were you two doing? Is he trying to pursue you?”
Liberty had lost a significant amount of weight recently. While she was not yet slim, she had become thinner compared to before her divorce.
“No wonder you’ve lost so much weight so quickly. Do you really think you can regain your former figure and go from rags to riches? Liberty, we were once a married couple who loved each other. Let me kindly remind you not to reach beyond your grasp. Mr. Lewis isn’t someone you’re qualified to marry.
“It would be good enough if you could remarry an older man who likes you. Do you really believe you can marry a young and handsome man after your divorce like I did?”
Liberty’s expression darkened. “Hank, my relationship with Mr. Lewis is none of your business. Who do you think you are? Do you have the right to

meddle in your affairs. You are indeed clever. After your divorce, you managed to marry a beautiful young woman. You can go home and look for her. Why did you come here to validate your existence?

“Could it be that you regret your choice and realize I’m better than Jessica since marrying her?”

Hank’s expression darkened. “Pah. I don’t regret it at all. Jessica and I are extremely happy now!”

“I’m only reminding you out of concern so you won’t get scammed out of romance and money. I was the one who provided you with the funds you’re using now.”

Liberty scoffed. “Thank you for the reminder. I earned what you gave me. Hank, it’s fine if you’re here to visit Sonny, but if you’ve come to criticize and lecture me, please leave. We’re not related anymore!”

Her words left Hank feeling embarrassed. He didn’t understand why he had come to see Liberty all of a sudden.

When Hank saw Duncan leaving Liberty’s rented apartment and noticed that Liberty was seeing him off while carrying her son, he felt a surge of anger.

“Has Serenity actually married Zachary?” Hank abruptly shifted the topic.

Liberty smiled subtly and asked, “So what if that’s true? What does it matter to you?”

Hank paused, caught off guard. After a moment, he replied, “Liberty, during our divorce, you promised that as long as the property division was handled according to your wishes and I agreed to let you have custody of Sonny, you wouldn’t seek revenge on me afterward.

“I’ve been struggling in my career lately. I suspect someone is working against me… Is that you?”

Liberty replied, “I promised never to seek revenge. I stand by my word. I’m honest and straightforward. Your career troubles are your own issue. I had nothing to do with it.”

“You have no idea what’s going on behind your back,” she said.

Hank responded incredulously, “What about Serenity? She’s married to Zachary York and can have anything she desires. It would be so easy for her to ensnare me. Is she the one manipulating me?”

“I cannot dictate the actions of Serenity and Zachary. I vowed never to seek revenge against you, and I’ve kept that promise.”

As Liberty spoke, Hank’s expression darkened. He slowly began to realize that he had been deceived!
