Married at First Sight Chapter 822

Chapter 822
“It’s not that he no longer fears losing her; he has chosen to confront the consequences of his deception. He has summoned the courage to face reality, but now he is driven to madness by his fear, leading to yet another small mistake.”
Jasmine sighed. “We can understand the situation because it doesn’t affect us directly, but we can’t truly grasp Seren’s pain and anger. Regardless, I won’t advise her. Even if I wanted to, I wouldn’t do it now. She is the one who has been wronged, so why should I assist Zachary? Wouldn’t that only deepen her sense of injustice?”
“She was deceived so cruelly by the person she shares her life with. Are we really supposed to tell her to forgive Zachary rather than help her express her anger? I can’t do that. If I could, I would confront Zachary on her behalf.”
“I wonder if Mr. Stone is aware of this. He could step in and confront Zachary since he’s her cousin. I would feel much better if I saw that happen.”
Josh was left speechless.
Zachary had certainly managed to anger a lot of people.
“Oh, Elisa. She told me she’d be back in two days. As soon as she returns, she’ll find out that Zachary is Serenity’s husband. She used to be infatuated with him. Do you think she might do something to Serenity when she learns that Serenity married him?”
Jasmine felt a headache coming on just thinking about it.
“I’m at a loss for what’s happening anymore. These kinds of situations should only exist in novels. It’s true what they say: fiction is often inspired by reality.”
Josh quickly asked, “Which novel is that? How does the male lead finally beg the female lead for forgiveness? I’ll suggest that Zachary read it to learn a thing or two.”
Jasmine replied honestly, “It’s a serialized novel, so the author hasn’t progressed that far yet. I have no idea how the female lead eventually forgives the male lead.”
Josh looked at her, utterly speechless.
“Don’t look at me that way. I’m not the one who wrote it. Staring at my face won’t provide you with the answer. If you genuinely want to help Zachary, follow my advice and encourage him to grant Seren her freedom. He shouldn’t keep her imprisoned in his villa.”
“Even if they’re husband and wife, he has no right to limit her freedom.”
Josh replied wryly, “You heard what Zachary said earlier. Do you really think he’ll take my advice now? Didn’t you see that I hung up on him out of frustration? He’s
convinced that allowing Serenity to leave now means losing her for good.”
“He won’t heed anyone’s advice at this point. Just let him be. He needs to experience pain
before he can learn.”
Every person will encounter hardship in their life.
The path to growth isn’t always smooth, and there will inevitably be numerous
setbacks.
Jasmine paused for a moment before walking away.
“Where are you going, Jasmine?”
“I’m going to get something to eat. I’m starving since I skipped lunch.”
Jasmine had forgotten to eat because of Serenity; if not for her hunger, she wouldn’t have remembered to nourish herself.
“I haven’t eaten either. Don’t just snack. I’ll order some food delivery.” Josh called Wiltspoon Hotel and placed the order as he spoke.
