Married at First Sight Chapter 803

Chapter 803
As Serenity and Jasmine left the shop, Liberty received a ride from Duncan and quickly arrived at Wiltspoon School.
With school still out, the area around the school was eerily quiet, and the shops near the entrance were closed.
Liberty noticed that the door to her sister’s bookshop was locked.
“Why is it closed?”
Liberty exited the car and approached the shop. She knocked on the door, but there was no response from inside. Pulling out her phone, she called her sister.
Meanwhile, Serenity was determined to confront Zachary at York Corporation. She needed to know if he was truly the heir of the wealthiest York family.
Lost in her troubled thoughts, Serenity didn’t hear her phone ringing and missed Liberty’s call.
Liberty decided to call Jasmine instead. Jasmine was in the midst of chasing after Serenity on her e-bike, but her speed was decreasing.
She had charged her e-bike’s battery a few days ago, but it was now running low!
As her phone rang, Jasmine pulled over to the side of the road and answered Liberty’s call.
“Liberty, Seren is heading to York Corporation to find Mr. York. She’s not in a good state right now, and I’m worried she might get into an accident. My e-bike can’t keep up with her, and the battery is dying.”
Jasmine regretted not driving her BMW to work instead of taking the e-bike.
“Understood. I’ll head to York Corporation right away,” Liberty replied.
Realizing her sister was on her way to York Corporation, Liberty turned back to the car. Noticing Duncan was on the phone, she chose to wait patiently instead of urging him to drive.
Duncan was on the line with Zachary.
Having overheard Liberty’s conversation with Jasmine, he realized the situation had escalated for

Zachary. Based on Jasmine’s description, it seemed that Zachary had inadvertently revealed his own identity. Duncan felt that Zachary should have been honest with Serenity about who he was the moment he fell in love with her. However, Zachary was too afraid of losing Serenity to take that risk. He chose to wait for the right moment, hoping that their relationship would solidify before he could be open without hesitation. From Liberty’s reaction, Duncan could infer how Serenity had reacted to the news. He was giving his best friend a heads-up: Zachary needed to be prepared for Serenity’s anger.

Once Liberty returned to the car, Duncan ended his call and turned to ask, “What’s the situation now? Where is your sister?”

“Jasmine mentioned that Serenity went to York Corporation, but she’s not herself at the moment. Jasmine is trying to catch up with her before she gets into an accident, but she took her e-bike, and the battery died halfway. Mr. Lewis, could you drive me to York Corporation, please?”

“Of course,” Duncan replied. “We’ll head there right away.”

He quickly texted his best friend to inform him that Serenity was en route to York Corporation. While Zachary was shopping for Hermès bags for Serenity, he received the alert from Duncan. Realizing it was no longer the time for shopping, he directed his security team to return to the office.

He summoned his courage and composure before agreeing to the interview, believing that Serenity wouldn’t find out until later that night since she wasn’t one to follow gossip—she typically heard it secondhand from Jasmine. It had never crossed his mind that the news would reach her so quickly. Did she see the interview, or did someone else inform her?

As he rode in the Rolls Royce, Zachary appeared calm on the surface, but inside, his nerves were anything but steady.

His clenched fists revealed his tension. Multiple scenarios played out in his mind regarding the potential verdict. Would she embrace the new information after some questioning, or would he face her wrath? He considered calling Nana for assistance in easing the situation.
