Married at First Sight Chapter 797

Chapter 797
Zachary was left speechless.
“I’m looking for encouragement and support here, Josh. I’m worried about how Seren is going to react.”
“I wholeheartedly support you in spirit. No matter what you decide, I’ll always be behind you. Zachary, I’m your number one fan! Keep it up! Even if your world falls apart, you’re a tall guy. Stand tall and hold your world together. Everything will be fine. The worst that can happen is you getting crushed.”
Zachary was at a loss for words.
“But your wife might discover the truth if you continue to keep secrets. She’ll be angrier than ever and may decide to leave you. Get ready to sign those divorce papers, man.”
“You should prepare for the storm rather than letting it catch you off guard. We’ve got each other’s backs if your wife gets upset with you and gives you the cold shoulder. Haha! I won’t have to watch you act all lovey-dovey with her anymore.”
The men could chase after their wives together.
Zachary said, “I shouldn’t have called you. You’re just gloating. I bet you’re ready with the popcorn for when everything goes wrong.”
“You know me too well, Zachary!”
Josh openly admitted it. That was right; he wanted to be there to witness Zachary’s downfall.
“Anyway, you’ve taken the plunge, so it’s time to face the consequences. By the way, today is Valentine’s Day. I know you’re not the romantic type and don’t celebrate this day, but I’m being nice by advising you to buy your wife a bouquet of flowers.”
Zachary replied, “I bought nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine roses for Serenity. She’ll get the delivery at her shop later.”
“I even got her thirty unique jewelry sets, along with a villa and a car just for her.”

Josh asked, “Do you think the gifts are sufficient? Should I buy more? Maybe I should get her thirty handbags so she can choose a different one every day for a month.”

“Oh, I should also get her clothes, skincare, and cosmetics. I wouldn’t have realized I was getting her too little without your reminder,” he added.

Josh retorted, “Get lost, showoff!” and then abruptly hung up the phone.

All Josh had done was order Jasmine a bouquet of flowers. Meanwhile, Zachary overshadowed him with the extensive Valentine’s gifts he had prepared.

Josh was tempted to criticize Zachary as he imagined Serenity receiving a staggering nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine roses, multiple jewelry sets, a villa, a car, and numerous handbags while Jasmine was only getting a single bouquet.

It was Valentine’s Day, not a wedding. Why did Zachary have to go all out with the presents? Would he do the same for International Women’s Day?

Reflecting on this, Josh realized why he remained single while Zachary quickly became a happily married man—it was Zachary’s tendency to go overboard!

Even though his best friend had hung up on him, Zachary was not the least bit angry. He believed he could do even better with the gifts.

Today was the day he planned to be completely honest with Serenity, and he wondered how she would react.

That’s why he felt the need to stock up on presents; perhaps they would help lessen her anger.

Zachary hoped everything would go smoothly. Keeping himself busy, he left the hotel with his security team to spend some money.

Meanwhile, Serenity was still unaware of the situation and had just finished tidying up her shop. After a relaxing holiday, work was now keeping her busy, and her back was aching.

“We finally got the place cleaned up. The students will be back in school soon,” she thought.

“Jasmine, have you had a chance to find out which study materials we need to watch for? We should order from the supplier before it’s too late.”

It’s not as if the supplier can provide immediate delivery.
