Married at First Sight Chapter 619

Olivia felt deep remorse upon discovering that Liberty had an aunt who married into a wealthy family. She realized that she should not have allowed her son to divorce. If he had stayed married, he could have benefitted from nepotism at Stone Group, significantly increasing his income—potentially even to tens of millions a year.

Olivia urged her son to reconcile with Liberty and remarry her, but he firmly rejected the idea. Jessica was entirely displeased with the suggestion. Consequently, Olivia ceased making explicit proposals and considered using her grandson as leverage instead.

She devised a plan for her son to pick up Sonny frequently, with the intention of returning him to Liberty. This would allow Hank to see Liberty more often. Given their twelve-year history and their shared son, Olivia hoped they might reconcile after some time apart.

“Mom, tell Chelsea to take you to Serenity’s store if you miss Sonny. You don’t need to pick him up. You can’t win him over anyway; what if you frighten him again?” Hank was aware of his mother’s intentions.

He was also taken aback to learn that Liberty’s aunt was Audrey, but he had no regrets about divorcing Liberty. His true love was Jessica, and he wanted to be with her. He planned to go to City Hall after New Year’s to obtain their marriage license in time for Valentine’s Day. Following that, he would arrange a wedding and fulfill every promise he made to Jessica.

“I’m busy, Mom. Let’s discuss this when I get back,” Hank said, eager to avoid his mother’s nagging. He hung up before she could continue.

As he looked up, he noticed Jessica’s displeased expression. He quickly pulled her onto his lap and reassured her, “Don’t worry about what my mom says, Jessica.”

the idea of her being a successful entrepreneur. “You’re so fortunate to have Mrs. Stone as your aunt,” she mused. “How could she possibly be related to her?” Everyone knew that Mrs. Stone had been searching for her sister for decades.

“Now that the Hunt sisters have been found, they will surely receive a lot of assistance. Perhaps they’ll be given a house and a car, or even hundreds of millions in savings,” she speculated.

Jessica felt a surge of jealousy toward Liberty. Why didn’t she have an incredibly wealthy aunt as well? “It doesn’t matter what my mom and sister think. They don’t understand that Liberty’s life isn’t necessarily better just because of her rich aunt. In fact, the wealthier someone is, the stingier they tend to be.”

Turning to face Hank, she wrapped her arms around his neck and playfully said, “Hank, tomorrow is the weekend. Will you come home with me to meet my parents?”

Hank replied fondly, “I’ll give you some money after work today. You can buy gifts that your family will like. Then, I’ll go home with you tomorrow to meet your parents.”

He continued, “And remember to bring your personal documents when we return. We’ll register for our marriage license on Valentine’s Day.”

In response, Jessica happily kissed him. The two of them shared a moment of intimacy in the office before Hank gently pulled away. “Let’s focus on work for now. I still need to meet with clients and do my best to recover the orders. You can come with me.”

Jessica smiled. “I’m your secretary, so of course I’ll accompany you.”

Soon, they left the office together. Meanwhile, Serenity was unaware that her husband had already dealt with Waltham Electronics. She spent the entire day engrossed in her handicrafts, not calling or messaging Zachary even once. Her sister returned home in the afternoon. Serenity knew her sister had quit her job to pursue her own business and fully supported her entrepreneurial aspirations.

her sister’s choice. “We’re getting along fine, Liberty. There are no issues.” Serenity was concealing the reality.
