Married at First Sight Chapter 472

Chapter 472
First and foremost, they needed to address the immediate issue: seeking justice for Sonny.
The concern about his identity being revealed could likely be postponed for a while since he would soon be leaving for Annenburg to attend the wedding of Ben Young–Johnson and Jane Murphy.
In any case, this matter could wait a bit longer.
He also had to come clean to Serenity before Mrs. Stone had a chance to see him.
He hoped Serenity’s reaction would not be overly harsh.
Initially, when he felt no emotions for her and struggled to understand her, he thought it was reasonable to conceal his identity to gauge her character.
After all, given his status, who could tell if the women who approached him were interested in him as a person or merely enticed by his wealth?
Now that he had come to appreciate Serenity’s character, her approach to challenges, self-confidence, strength, and independence, he found himself increasingly attracted to her.
Meanwhile, once Elisa finished her call with Serenity, she promptly directed her domestic helper, “Mrs. Franklin, please prepare some child-friendly supplements as a gift.”
Mrs. Franklin inquired, “Miss, how old is the child?”
“A little over two years old.”
“Children that age typically don’t need supplements if they are healthy,”
Mrs. Franklin advised her employer’s daughter.

Elisa had never been married before, so it was understandable that she was unfamiliar with certain aspects. It was her responsibility to guide the young lady, to prevent any possibility of her choosing an inappropriate gift and then taking her frustration out on Elisa upon her return.

“Not even a little?”

As she reflected on it, Elisa realized that Sonny was healthy and truly did not require any supplements.

“Unless they are iron, zinc, or calcium supplements, but we don’t have any at home.”

Among the three Stone siblings, Clive was married, but since he was accommodating to his wife and they still wanted to enjoy their time together as a couple, they had yet to have children. Meanwhile, Anthony and Elisa were both still single, which was why there were no health products suitable for children in their home.

“Forget it then. There’s no need to prepare children’s supplements. Just help me make some nourishing food to send over to Liberty. I can’t show up empty-handed, can I? When I head out soon, I’ll also buy a few toys for Sonny at the toy shop outside.”

If Liberty heard this, she would have thought, “I’m already as heavy as a pig and being pressured by Mr. Lewis to lose weight, and now Elisa wants to give me nourishing food?”

“Do you want it now?”

Elisa considered for a moment before replying, “Just have it ready. After my mom gets back, I’ll take it with me when I go out.”

Sonny resembled her aunt. Elisa thought it would be best to bring her mother along for a visit so she could see Sonny in person.

Regardless of their family ties, it was clear that they all cared for one another.

Regardless of the circumstances, it remained a thread of hope. She refused to believe that Serenity had ulterior motives; there was no way they could fake this. Her mother planned to conduct a DNA test as a follow-up, which would reveal the truth about their relationship. Moreover, given Serenity’s character, she would never pretend to be a relative just to gain wealth through association.

“Alright,” Mrs. Franklin said, and she went to prepare nourishing food for Elisa.

Elisa called her mother. “Mom, where are you and Dad right now?”

Mrs. Stone laughed on the other end of the line. “We’ll be home in half an hour. Why, do you miss me?”

Elisa pouted. “I miss you so much, Mom! I think about you every day. At any moment, you’re on my mind.”

Mrs. Stone was amused by her daughter and joked, “I thought you only knew how to think about Zachary York.”

“Mom, please don’t mention him again. He already has a partner.”

At the mention of Zachary, Elisa’s smile disappeared. That remark struck a painful chord!
