After they obtained their tickets, the group entered the resort.
Serenity was immediately captivated by the resort’s beauty. As she walked, she asked, “Is this a landscaped garden?”
“Yes, but it’s divided into Oriental and French sections. The Oriental garden is at the front, while the French garden is at the back. The resort is vast, so even after a full day of exploring, we’ll only just scratch the surface.”
The couple pushed Sonny in front, while Grandma May and Mrs. Lane walked behind them.
“Cecilia, you should push Sonny. The three of us can walk together. Let the young couple have some time alone—it can be a date,” Mrs. Lane suggested.
She then whispered, “Mr. Zachary doesn’t even have the courage to hold his wife’s hand. What kind of date is that?”
Grandma May shot her a glare and replied softly, “Can’t you see Serenity pushing Sonny? Even if Zack wanted to hold her hand, he wouldn’t have the chance.” Mrs. Lane nodded in agreement, “Oh, you’re right. I’ll push Sonny then.”
“Just act natural. Don’t be too obvious,” Grandma May advised.
“I know,” Mrs. Lane replied.
The two came up with their plan and followed the couple’s lead. Serenity walked slowly, frequently stopping to take pictures. “Ms. Hunt, let me push Sonny,” she offered.
Mrs. Lane seized the opportunity and took over the stroller. “This way, you can take as many photos as you like. I’ve been here several times with my family, so it’s not new to me anymore, and I won’t want to take pictures.”
Serenity believed her completely.
Now that she was free from pushing Sonny, Serenity strolled leisurely, feeling as if she were walking through a painting. She couldn’t resist capturing the scenery on her phone.
Grandma May intentionally brushed against Zachary as she passed him, winking playfully before continuing to push Sonny alongside Mrs. Lane, as if nothing had occurred.
After finishing her photography, Serenity noticed that Grandma May and Mrs. Lane had wandered off. “Zachary, we need to go or we’ll lose Nana and the others!”
