Zachary’s expression remained unchanged; his face was still and his lips pressed tightly together as he chose to remain silent.

Nana laughed heartily until she was satisfied, then shifted the conversation. “Isn’t Elisa Stone waiting for you over there?”

“She won’t come to bother me anymore.”

Elisa hadn’t waited for him at the office for the past two days.

She had told Serenity that as long as Zachary had a girlfriend or was married, she would definitely stop bothering him.

This revelation increased Zachary’s favorability towards her by two points.

The unruly young lady was certainly better than many others simply by not trying to disrupt a marriage in pursuit of true love.

Callum is still single, so maybe you should shift your attention to him. Otherwise, he’ll keep saying you have a favorite.”

When Callum saw Nana pulling her luggage behind her, he was momentarily shocked and asked in confusion, “Nana, what are you doing? Are you going on vacation?”

“I want to move in with your cousin and his wife.”

Callum, not being foolish, quickly grasped the situation. He chuckled and replied, “Nana, can you ask him if I can move in too?”

“His place is so small. How could it accommodate you both?”

“I can sleep on the sofa or something. If that doesn’t work, I can just lay out a rug. You can tell him that if I see him and Serenity being affectionate every day, I’ll be easily influenced and will want to end my singlehood. My parents would be incredibly grateful to him if he allows me to move in.”

He was still single, and his parents were quite anxious about it.

Nana laughed and said, “If you want to convey that, you can tell him yourself. I’m not going to be your messenger. Do you think it was easy for me to convince him to let me move in? I had to approach him with a thick skin and throw some false accusations at your dad and uncles before I managed to get my way in.

“If I tried to help you, I’d jeopardize my own chance to move in. What a loss that would be!”
