Married at First Sight Chapter 359

Chapter 359
Liberty winked at her sister, and Serenity grasped the unspoken message.
Liberty simply wanted to convey that Zachary was a good man and that Serenity should treat him well.
Serenity had to admit that despite Zachary’s occasional domineering and petty behavior, he was a principled man when it came to facing challenges. He was better than many men out there.
More importantly, although their relationship didn’t stem from love, Zachary had been kind to Serenity and was genuinely trying his best.
To demonstrate to Liberty that she was treating Zachary well, Serenity continually placed food on his plate during dinner. Zachary savored the meal and felt appreciated.
The food Serenity served him was particularly delicious.
Suddenly, Zachary remembered the time he saw Serenity putting food on Shawn’s plate at Grace’s Diner. He thought, ‘Shawn must have been thrilled at that moment, right? Hmph, so what? Serenity serving him once doesn’t mean anything! Serenity only views Shawn as her younger brother!’
“There’s no other meaning to it!”
Serenity had consistently served Zachary throughout the meal, while Shawn had only received such treatment once. Shawn would never measure up to Zachary.
So what if Shawn loved Serenity?
Zachary was now Serenity’s husband.
Regardless of their past, Zachary was officially Serenity’s legal husband.
Shawn needed to step aside.
Zachary didn’t need to feel jealous of Shawn; rather, Shawn should be envious of him.
Zachary reassured himself and finally let go of the incident when Serenity had put food on Shawn’s plate.
Everyone enjoyed the dinner together, filled with laughter.
After dinner, the young couple escorted Liberty and Sonny home before heading out to shop.
This was the first time…

Zachary was going shopping with Serenity after being married for quite some time. Shopping at the supermarket didn’t count. The streets were bustling with people at night. Zachary could humble himself and accompany Serenity to the supermarket, and it was clear he could do the same now that they were at the mall.

The young couple walked with the crowd, wandering aimlessly. “Serenity, is there anything you want to buy?” Zachary finally asked, unable to hold back when he saw her heading toward the exit without entering any stores.

“I can’t think of anything I want to buy,” she replied. Zachary was left speechless.

“Then how about we buy something to eat?” he suggested.

“We’ve already eaten and drunk plenty; let’s just consider this a brisk walk to aid our digestion. I can’t eat anymore,” Serenity responded. Zachary studied her for a moment and then helplessly agreed, “Let’s just do that then.”

He was happy to continue stepping on ants as long as he was with Serenity, doing what ordinary couples do. He noticed other couples walking by, holding hands or wrapping their arms around each other’s waists, and he quietly glanced at Serenity’s hand.

He attempted to hold her hand several times but ultimately aborted each effort. Damn it! Zachary was unafraid of many things, yet he hesitated when it came to reaching for Serenity’s hand.
