Married at First Sight Chapter 1061

Chapter 1061
“In the end, Cupid had to descend to Earth to resolve his apprentice’s mistakes and unite the man and woman destined to be together. When I first watched the show, it felt so magical. I was young and didn’t comprehend love, but the concept of bringing two people together by shooting them with arrows fascinated me,” she said.
Zachary asked, “Was there a TV show like that? I don’t recall seeing it; I rarely have time to watch TV.”
As the successor of the company, he had to learn more than his peers since childhood. He underwent extensive training and education, which left him little time for television.
“When my parents were still alive, I often watched TV shows with them. Back then, televisions were still black and white.”
“After my parents passed away, my sister and I were left to fend for ourselves. We had to concentrate on our studies and didn’t watch TV for several years. We only caught a few shows occasionally after we started working and had some free time.”
Zachary grasped her hand tightly. “In the future, I’ll watch any TV series you want with you.” Serenity leaned her head on his shoulder but quickly straightened up again. With many people around, it wasn’t the right time for affectionate displays.
As they walked and talked, the journey seemed shorter, and they soon reached the barbecue site at the villa.
Sam had finished setting everything up, so no further preparations were needed upon their arrival.
The men, eager to show off, took charge of the grill while the women enjoyed their food.
When the other young masters of the York family noticed Zachary’s table filled with couples, they quietly moved to another grill some distance away, not wanting to be too close to the couples, as it made them feel envious.
Kevin placed a plate of grilled lamb skewers on the table.

Callum looked at the table and asked, “Are you envious?”

“Cut the small talk. If you are, then follow Nana’s advice. Our family owns hotels in Jensburg. Go on a business trip and meet your future wife.”

Kevin grabbed the chicken wing from Callum’s hand and replied, “If you want to eat, you can grill it yourself.”

He had no interest in Hayden!

She was a tomboy!

In fact, she looked more handsome as a man than he did!

Moreover, he had discreetly inquired about Hayden and discovered that her reputation in Jensburg was just as impressive as Zachary’s.

Hayden was certainly a tough nut to crack.

Kevin felt like he would break before she would.

Callum wanted to enjoy the other grilled dishes, but Kevin took the plate away, preventing him from eating.

“I only said one thing, and now you’re denying me food.”

“Don’t be so petty, Kevin. You won’t regret listening to Nana; you’ll actually face more trouble if you ignore her.”

Kevin retorted, “You’re not listening to her either.”

Callum was left speechless, thinking, ‘Well, better you than me.’
