Married at First Sight Chapter 1036

Chapter 1036
As Duncan was driving home from work, he spotted Hank carrying Sonny out of the shop. Assuming the scoundrel was attempting to kidnap Sonny, he immediately slammed on the brakes and halted in front of All You Can Eat.
“Sonny!”
Duncan quickly exited his car and strode over. Before Hank could react, Duncan snatched his son from his arms.
After taking Sonny from Hank, Duncan even kicked him, causing Hank to stumble backward and fall onto the steps, landing on his rear.
Hank stared at Duncan in shock.
What was this Lewis doing?
He took his son and even kicked him!
“Get out of here! If you dare try to kidnap Sonny again or bother Liberty, I’ll ensure you won’t be able to walk by the time I’m finished with you!”
Hank was left speechless.
“Dad!” Sonny cried, squirming to get down.
Hank stood up and explained, “Mr. Lewis, you’ve misunderstood. I’m not here to kidnap Sonny, nor have I harassed Liberty. I’m simply taking Sonny to the park to play, as he requested.”
Duncan glared at him, clearly unconvinced.
He walked straight into the shop, carrying Sonny.
“Liberty!”
He shouted as he entered, his voice always on the rough side.
“Has that scumbag been bothering you again? He’s trying to kidnap Sonny, isn’t he?”
There had been previous incidents involving the Browns attempting to kidnap Sonny.
Liberty emerged from the small kitchen and was momentarily stunned to see Duncan with Sonny. Then she said, “Mr. Lewis, you’re here. I did ask him to take Sonny out to play.”
“So it was my misunderstanding…” Duncan said.
He placed…

Sonny turned to Hank and said, “That’s fine. You should take Sonny out to play then. I didn’t use much strength in that kick earlier, so you should be able to handle it, right?”

Hank’s expression darkened, looking as if it were dripping with black ink.

Duncan’s earlier kick had indeed been quite hard; it had caused Hank to stumble back a few steps and land on his backside.

However, under Duncan Lewis’ intense glare, Hank didn’t dare utter a word and simply left after picking up Sonny.

Once outside the shop, he coaxed his son, “Sonny, let’s not go to the park today, okay?”

“Why not?” Sonny asked.

“Didn’t you see that scary man in your mom’s shop? He’s so fierce that even Dad is afraid of him. Mom would definitely be scared too. If we go to the park and leave her alone in the store, she might be bullied by that cruel man.”

“Sonny’s a little man, so you need to learn how to protect Mom,” Hank added.

Duncan’s presence made Hank reluctant to leave. He wanted to stay there, even if Liberty tried to chase him away with a broom. He felt like a third wheel.

Duncan was clearly trying to pursue Liberty!

Hank felt an overwhelming sense of agitation.

Despite having a knife scar on his face that made him look terrifying, Duncan was the CEO of a large corporation and was superior to Hank in every way.

Hank had lost his job after his second marriage, and the thought of Liberty marrying into a wealthy family for her second marriage filled him with jealousy.
