Married at First Sight Chapter 938

Chapter 938
At that time, Josh did not take Jasmine seriously at all.
It wasn’t until Aunt Rachel stopped arranging blind dates for Jasmine that he began to notice her during Mrs. Dawson’s birthday party. He found her interesting.
After going on a blind date with Jasmine, he discovered that she was his type. Like him, she enjoyed participating in fun activities and gossiping. Coincidentally, he had a wealth of juicy gossip to share with someone who was eager to listen. Gradually, the idea of marrying Jasmine began to cross his mind.
“After all, I’m already in my 30s. I have a fair understanding of love. Moreover, outsiders often have a clearer perspective. I can see things more objectively than Zachary and have even become his love consultant. Unfortunately, despite my guidance, his relationship with Serenity remains complicated.”
Jasmine sighed. “Seren isn’t cold-hearted; it’s just that Zachary concealed his identity and lied to her. Now that Zachary has allowed her to stay at her sister’s house, her anger is slowly subsiding.”
“Seren’s current concern is the significant gap between her and Zachary in reality. She’s experiencing psychological stress about her future with him. Setting Seren aside, there’s a considerable gap between our lives as well. However, my situation is much better than hers.”
Jasmine owned several rental apartments and half a row of shop lots. If she sold them, her assets would exceed 100 million dollars based on current market values.
Of course, she couldn’t compare to the Buchams. Josh’s parents owned several companies. Although they were not as wealthy as Julian’s family, they were still a well-off family that maintained a low profile. Josh chose not to take over his parents’ business, instead opting to work at York Corporation to pursue his own potential.
“We’re perfectly matched. There’s no disparity between us whatsoever.”
Jasmine glanced at him, smiled, and replied, “I don’t feel inferior, nor do I believe I’m unqualified to be with you.”
Having grown up in Wiltspoon, Jasmine’s father amassed wealth through strategic property investments. From a young age, she lived a life of affluence. Although she was not keen on marrying into a wealthy family, she never considered herself unqualified.
To Jasmine, wealthy families presented numerous challenges. Her aunt, for instance, faced significant difficulties after marrying Mr. Lowe.
Jasmine aspired to find a local from Wiltspoon who had a stable job and owned several rental properties, similar to her own situation, so they would be well-matched. After marriage, she envisioned discussing who would collect the rent the following day with her partner as a shared topic of conversation.
“Seren isn’t inferior; she’s just too logical.”
Serenity had to enter a social circle she had never desired, which was exceedingly stressful for her.
Josh understood her situation.
While the two discussed relationships, they soon reached Wiltspoon Hotel.
Instead of heading into the basement parking lot, Josh parked in front of the hotel.
As Jasmine prepared to exit the car, Josh reminded her, “Don’t forget the bouquet I gave you.”
“Why should I take the bouquet to dinner?”
Despite her mumbling, Jasmine got out of the car with the bouquet in hand.
Then, Josh instinctively took her hand and led her into the hotel.
“Josh?”
A high-pitched female voice called out. It was familiar to Josh but unfamiliar to Jasmine.
“Hurry up,”
Josh urged Jasmine to quicken her pace.
As she was being pulled away, Jasmine turned around and spotted a beautiful middle-aged woman approaching quickly in high heels.

heels.
