Married at First Sight Chapter 935

Chapter 935
“I’m heading to work now.”
Zachary reluctantly left the Stones’ villa, departing under Serenity’s watchful gaze.
Sonny rubbed the spot on his cheek where his uncle had pinched him and said to Serenity, “Aunt Ser, Uncle Zak just called me a third wheel. My name is Sonny, not ‘the third wheel.’”
As she carried Sonny back into the house, Serenity gently replied, “Your uncle was just joking. You’re not a third wheel; you’re a peacemaker.”
If she brought Sonny along to meet Zachary, both of them would be more likely to manage their tempers and avoid conflict. This would help improve their relationship and build trust between them.
They were deeply concerned about providing a healthy environment for the child, so Sonny, despite not being their child, played the role of a reconciler between the couple.
“I’m Sonny.”
“Alright, alright. You’re Sonny.”
Only then did Sonny feel satisfied.
He had no understanding of what a third wheel or a peacemaker was. All he knew was that his full name was Sonny Brown, and everyone called him Sonny.
Once Serenity returned to the house, Mrs. Stone asked her to go upstairs and check out Elisa’s walk-in closet, which was filled with Elisa’s clothes.
Mrs. Stone said, “Seren, your height and build are similar to Elisa’s. You should try on her clothes first. I’ll help find pieces that showcase your natural elegance.”
Serenity glanced at Elisa, who generously encouraged her, “Seren, feel free to try on my clothes since my mom suggested it. We’re cousins, and I don’t mind you wearing them. In fact, there are many outfits I bought on a whim and never wore, just left them here.”
“You can wear some on my behalf. That way, I’ll have an excuse to keep them.”
Serenity found this amusing.
When Elisa loved someone, she treated them with genuine kindness and didn’t put on airs. However, she would embarrass those she clashed with.
In addition to spending the entire afternoon trying on clothes, Serenity was taken by her aunt and cousin to undergo hair and facial treatments.
As evening approached, it marked the peak hour for businesses near Wiltspoon School, particularly the bookstore.
With the school year having resumed, students needed to purchase various supplies. Some materials arrived late, which led students to frequent the bookstore over the past two weeks, inquiring about the stock.
At that moment, Serenity’s bookstore was bustling with students eager to buy reference materials and stationery. As a result, Jasmine and Mrs. Lane were quite busy.
When Serenity couldn’t assist at the store, she arranged for Mrs. Lane to help out so that Jasmine wouldn’t be overwhelmed.
A brand new SUV was parked at the bookstore’s entrance. When the car door opened, Josh stepped out, dressed in a white suit and holding a bouquet of flowers.
Noticing the crowd of students buying items, Josh placed the bouquet back in the car. He removed his coat and took off the expensive watch from his right wrist, placing them in the car before shutting the door and heading towards the bookstore, rolling up his sleeves in preparation to assist Jasmine.
“Jasmine,”
Josh entered the store and greeted her. “You’re busy. Since I’m here, is there anything I can help with?”
“Just assist them in finding what they need,”
Jasmine directed him, allowing him to help as he wished.
She didn’t ask Josh to handle payments since he was unfamiliar with the prices.
The three of them were kept busy until it was time for the students to do self-

“You have a social function to attend tonight, don’t you?”

Once they were able to unwind, Jasmine finally had the opportunity to talk to Josh.
