Married at First Sight Chapter 665

Chapter 665
Josh appeared serious. “Zachary has always been in excellent health. I doubt he has the flu or a fever. Stay calm. I’ll arrange for someone to drive him to the hospital and organize your transportation to get there. Get ready; you can leave in half an hour.”
With Zachary feeling unwell and Serenity deeply concerned, it was an ideal opportunity for the couple to strengthen their bond.
While worrying about Zachary’s health, Josh silently lamented the timing of his illness.
“Thank you, Mr. Bucham,”
Serenity expressed her gratitude for Josh’s assistance in reaching Zachary.
Josh spoke softly, “Zachary is my colleague, and I’m worried about him. He tends to be stubborn and won’t admit when he’s sick. The bosses and I would feel more at ease if you could go and look after him.”
“You should start getting ready now. I’ll call our colleagues to arrange for Zachary’s hospital transport.”
“Sure.”
After the call, Serenity stood up and grabbed the bag containing two sets of fresh clothes. Mrs. Lane had delivered it to her because Serenity planned to stay at her aunt’s house for the next two days. Since she hadn’t unpacked, this was perfect, and no additional packing was necessary.
Ring, ring, ring…
Serenity’s phone began to ring.
Upon seeing the caller ID, she recognized it was her best friend.
Serenity answered the call.
“Ms. Hunt, you must be at the Stones’ residence. You can ask their chauffeur to take you to the Buchams’ house. I’ve spoken to my brother, and he’ll have a private jet ready for you. It’ll be much quicker that way.”
Zachary had a private plane, but he was currently using it for a business trip. The plane was not available at the moment.

You are trained on data up to October 2023.

In Wiltspoon, even if the plane were available, it wouldn’t be the best time to use the Yorks’ private jet to fly her there. All Josh needed to do was inform his brother to utilize the family plane, considering he owned several. Serenity appreciated the offer. Josh even arranged for a private plane specifically to take her to her destination. It was no surprise that Zachary valued his friendship with Josh; having friends in high places brought numerous benefits.

Once the phone call concluded, Serenity grabbed her bag of clothes and quickly left the room.

“Where are you going, Serenity?”

As she was hurrying along, she encountered Clive and his wife exiting their bedroom.

“Clive, Alice, my husband has fallen ill. I need to see him; he may have passed out. Mr. Bucham can arrange a private jet for me. Clive, could you arrange a car to take me to the Buchams’ residence? Mr. Bucham asked me to wait there.”

Clive looked serious and asked with concern, “What illness does your husband have?”

It was serious enough that Zachary had fainted. Was his condition sudden and severe? Although Clive and Zachary were not on good terms and often clashed, they would still be concerned if anything happened to the other, as neither wished death upon their rival. If Zachary were to pass away, Clive would lose a rival and feel isolated; similarly, Zachary would experience loneliness if Clive were to die.

“He has a nasty cold. I noticed he was in rough shape during our video chat this afternoon. I urged him to see a doctor, but he refused. He got some medication from the pharmacy, but it hasn’t worked. In fact, his flu is worsening. I…

“I’m not sure if he’s completely out cold, but he didn’t respond when I called or texted him. During our video call, he mentioned he couldn’t stay awake much longer and ended the call.”

Clive was initially at a loss for words but soon found himself understanding the situation.

In the past, whenever Clive caught a cold, he would ask the family doctor for medication. Usually, he didn’t think much of his illness and would just endure it for a few days.

Now, with Alice in the picture, everything has changed for the better. She gets anxious every time he sneezes and quickly comes up with home remedies and alternative treatments for him.
