Married at First Sight Chapter 434

Chapter 434
“That’s for sure. I’ll fight them in court to reclaim my parents’ house!”
“Since you’re feeling so confident, don’t let yourself feel down anymore. We’re out to enjoy ourselves today, so let’s be happy. We’ll tackle the unresolved issues from the past one by one and find solutions.”
He wrapped his arms around Serenity, giving her a gentle squeeze as he said, “You still have me. Even if the sky falls, you won’t need to worry. I’ll support you through it all.”
Serenity didn’t pull away and simply nestled against his chest. It was only after a few moments that she broke free from his embrace.
She wore an expression that was somewhat unusual.
“There are plenty of people around us.”
Zachary casually took her hand and led her forward. “We’re husband and wife, not having an affair. What do we have to fear?”
Serenity was left speechless.
“No wonder my sister always advises me to treat you well.” He had completely won her sister over.
After their unexpected marriage, as they adjusted to life together, Serenity came to realize that while Zachary had his flaws, his strengths far outweighed them. After all, everyone has their shortcomings, including herself.
Ultimately, Zachary was far superior to that scumbag Hank.
Serenity’s already restless heart stirred once more at the thought of Zachary.
She needed to find a way to sneak a copy of the agreement and destroy it. Then, she could tease him without restraint. Once they truly became a couple, he wouldn’t bring up the six-month contract anymore.
She glanced at his face, which remained stoic as usual.
Serenity sighed. “It’s best if I strengthen my heart first. Otherwise, even if I were to strip him bare, my passion would be extinguished immediately by his cold demeanor.”

“Then be nicer to me,” she said.
“Am I not nice enough to you?” he replied.
Zachary pursed his lips and remained silent.
As a couple, they had a dynamic of give and take. Serenity was not the type of person to simply accept kindness without reciprocating.
If he treated her well, she would respond in kind.
For every ten favors he did for her, she would return the same number. In essence, she would never feel indebted to him.
If he wanted her to treat him better, he needed to improve his treatment of her first.
A successful marriage required teamwork.
“Where are Nana and Mrs. Lane? I don’t see them anymore,” she asked.
Serenity recalled Grandma May and quickly turned to Zachary. “You’re tall and can see farther. Do you spot them up ahead?”
Zachary glanced forward and answered, “I don’t see them, but it’s okay. Nana has been here several times and knows the area well. We can call her later and ask her to wait for us at the restaurant.”
After all, this was their own property. Who would be more familiar with it than they were?
Zachary wasn’t worried that Grandma May would get lost.
In fact, he suspected that Grandma May and Mrs. Lane had intentionally walked ahead quickly.
They had deliberately separated from Sonny and hurried off because they wanted to give the couple some privacy, hoping to enhance their relationship and allow them to enjoy the sweetness of dating.
