Chapter 321
“Draven is public enemy number one right now,” Larissa said, her eyes alight with strategic fervor. “When he was taken away last night, even your father, Thatch, didn’t step in to plead with your grandfather. It’s unlikely he’d risk anything to get Draven out today. So, whoever took him must be another faction of the Palmer family, looking to use him against you.”
This was another chance for her to flex her strategic muscles, and she was clearly energized by the challenge.
Haskell nodded. “Yes, your analysis matches mine. I’ve already had Crispin send people to find out if it was Solomon’s family or Fraser’s who took him.”
“Haskell, make sure you tell me as soon as you find anything,” Larissa said, her tone serious. “Don’t even think about hiding it from me because you’re worried. You’re my fiancé now, and I need to know you’re safe.”
She couldn’t bear the thought of something like his legs injury happening again. While Haskell wasn’t the type to make the same mistake twice, she had to be cautious. The first time it was his legs; the second time, it could be his life.
Seeing her so concerned for his well–being, a gentle warmth softened Haskell’s deep, pool–like eyes. He responded softly, “Alright. Whatever you say, Larissa.”
Only then did she look satisfied, her voice filled with confidence. “From now on, it doesn’t matter who tries to harm us. As long as we’re together, we’ll be unbeatable.”
Haskell gazed at her, captivated. When she spoke, her eyes shone with a brilliance that outshone the daylight outside.
He was sure of it. With Larissa by his side, he felt he could single–handedly take on all the malice directed at them.
Finley, after using every channel available to him, finally tracked Garrick to a hotel. Weighing the risks, he brought two strong, well–trained bodyguards and rushed over.
At the hotel, Finley went straight to the front desk and booked a luxurious presidential suite on the top floor without hesitation. He knew that was the kind of room a man like Garrick would choose.
On the top floor, Finley signaled his bodyguards. They began methodically ringing the doorbell of each suite. The third door opened slowly, revealing Garrick himself. He was bare–chested, with only a white towel wrapped around his waist, barely covering the essentials.
The sudden appearance of Finley left Garrick stunned, too surprised to react.
In that brief moment of hesitation, Finley and his bodyguards swept into the room, slamming the door shut behind them.
Only then did Garrick snap out of it. He spun around, his face contorted with rage. “Finley, what the fuck do you think you’re doing?”
Finley ignored him, his eyes scanning the room. He saw a young woman sitting on the bed, her

clothes in disarray and a visible slap mark on her beautiful face. She had to be the one Larissa wanted him to save.
Without a second thought, he strode forward, grabbed her by the wrist, and said, “Come with me. I’m getting you out of here!”
Leila flinched, staring at him in shock. “You…”
“No time to talk,” Finley cut her off. “Let’s go.”
Leila quickly fell silent.
Garrick roared, “Finley, have you lost your mind? You dare to steal a woman I’ve claimed!”
“Hold him back,” Finley ordered his bodyguards. He pulled the woman along, hurrying out of the room before Garrick could call for his own men.
As they disappeared down the hall, Garrick screamed at the bodyguards blocking his path, “Do you have any idea who I am? Get the hell out of my way, or I’ll have you all killed!”
