The Girl in the Mirror’s Price Novel Chapter 10

Stole My Name to Date A Billionaire by Mark Twain 10

Chapter 10

Chapter 10

I got the call while watching Morgan Pharma’s stock price climb back into the green.

It was the Blackwell family butler.

“Miss Morgan, Mr. Blackwell… he’s not going to make it.”

“In his final moments, he asked to see you.”

I went.

The hospital room was sterile and empty.

Grayson lay in the bed, face ashen, tubes everywhere. All that arrogance-gone.

When he saw me, a faint light flickered in his dull eyes.

Then, using every ounce of strength left, he forced out a few words.

“You knew Kaia had HIV, didn’t you?”

“Seraphina Morgan… wasn’t I good to you?”

“I loved you so much… why did you do this to me?”

I looked at him and stared for a long time.

Then, slowly, I spoke.

“Grayson, let me tell you a story.”

“In my last life, Kaia catfished you using my name. Sent her photos.”

“Three months later, you came back. She begged me to go meet you with her. I went.”

“At the campus gates, you called out ‘Sera’ to her all dolled up. She acted like she had no idea who you were, pointed at 200-pound me and said, ‘You’ve got the wrong person. She’s Seraphina Morgan.””

“You thought I’d stolen Kaia’s photos to catfish you. Got so furious you destroyed my family. My parents jumped off a building. I followed.”

“God must’ve felt sorry for me. Gave me a second chance.”

“This life? I’m just taking back what you owed me. With interest.”

Grayson’s eyes went wide. Pupils dilated with shock and terror.

“No… that’s not possible… you’re lying…”

“Whether I’m lying doesn’t matter anymore.”

I leaned in close, whispered right into his ear where only he could hear.

“What matters is, Grayson Blackwell, you’re about to die.”

Chapter 10

“This is your karma.”

“And my rebirth.”

I finished speaking. Didn’t look at his final expression.

Just turned and walked out of the room.

Outside, the sunlight was blinding.

I raised my hand, shielded my eyes for a second.

It felt good.

This life, the sun could finally shine on me.
