The Amazing Son In Law (The Charismatic Charlie Wade) Chapter 391

After Elaine acknowledged her mistake and promised not to repeat it, Claire’s heart softened, and she chose not to escalate the issue any further.

In a private moment, Claire confided in Charlie, saying, “Charlie, my mom has her flaws. Please don’t hold it against her too harshly. As long as she recognizes her errors and is determined to improve, she deserves a second chance.”

Charlie had no real argument against that. She was Claire’s biological mother and also his mother-in-law. So, with a gentle smile, he replied, “I understand, Claire. You don’t need to worry about me. You can handle this as you see fit. I’m your husband, and she’s my mother-in-law, so I won’t blame her for anything.”

Claire nodded appreciatively, wrapping her arms around Charlie in a warm hug. “Dear husband, I truly appreciate you. If it weren’t for you, Mom and I might not have made it out of that situation…”

Charlie smiled and reassured her, “No need to keep thanking me!”

“Mm…” Claire responded, then suggested, “Perhaps we should delay our move. What do you think?”

Although Charlie was eager to move out with Claire, he respected her choice. He smiled and said, “I’m fine with whatever you decide. Whether we stay here or move out doesn’t matter much to me.”

Then, a thought struck Charlie, and he mentioned, “By the way, the renovations for the villa at Thompson First are nearly finished. Once it’s ready, we can move in as a family.”

Claire seemed a bit taken aback. “But that villa belongs to Mr. White. What if we move in and he decides he wants it back?”

“That wouldn’t be an issue at all,” Charlie smiled. “Zeke has already transferred ownership of the villa to me, making me the legal owner. He can’t take it back now. Plus, moving into that spacious villa would allow us to enjoy a quieter life. We could have our own space, with our parents on the second floor and us on the third. This way, we’d have less interaction and more freedom. What do you think?”

Claire considered his words and realized they made sense.

She had often wished to escape the complications of her family, yet sometimes felt guilty for wanting to leave as she was still their biological child. But dealing with family issues could be overwhelming.

So, moving into the villa seemed like a solution that could simplify their lives. With separate floors, they could minimize interference and have the personal space they needed.

Claire nodded and said to Charlie, “If that’s the case, let’s move into the villa as soon as the renovations are done!”

Meanwhile, a villa by the riverside was engulfed in flames.

Firefighters arrived and worked diligently to extinguish the blaze, but the interior of the villa was completely consumed by fire.

Upon investigation, the fire crew found no signs of human remains, confirming that the fire had thankfully not resulted in any casualties.

A fire without victims rarely draws attention, and so the sudden blaze that destroyed the villa went largely unnoticed.

The absence of any bodies was due to the fact that Justin and Jason had been turned to ashes by Charlie’s Thunder Order. Their remains merged with the debris, leaving no identifiable DNA.

This was how both members of the Grant family vanished from existence.

At this time, the Grant family was in a state of panic.

No one knew the fate of Justin and Jason, nor were they aware of the horrifying plan the father and son had devised to retaliate against Charlie. Although the villa belonged to the family, the lack of casualties led them to believe that the two had merely gone missing.

In response, the Grant family announced a reward of five million dollars for any information regarding Justin and Jason, distributing their photos throughout the city.

However, no one could locate the two who had seemingly disappeared without a trace, leaving no evidence of their existence behind.
