The Amazing Son In Law (The Charismatic Charlie Wade) Chapter 359

“Oh? Are you familiar with Doctor Simmons?” the doctor inquired, a hint of curiosity in his tone.

Kenneth chuckled with delight. “Absolutely! It’s more than just a passing acquaintance! The renowned doctor you mentioned is a dear family friend! When he was struggling in the past, our family was the one that helped him get back on his feet and achieve his current success. I had no idea he was based in Aurous Hill now, that’s wonderful!”

With excitement, he leapt off the bed and urged Christopher, “Quickly, take me to Dr. Simmons’s clinic!”

After obtaining the address for Anthony’s clinic, Christopher swiftly drove Kenneth to the Serene World Clinic.

Upon their arrival at the clinic’s entrance, Kenneth jumped out of the car and hurried inside, noticing a clinic staff member escorting a young man on crutches out the door.

The young man was limping painfully, pleading, “Sir, please! I beg you! Can you please tell Dr. Simmons that I need his assistance? I’m willing to pay him five million dollars if he can help fix my legs!”

The clinic staff replied coldly, “I’m sorry, Mr. Grant. Dr. Simmons has stated that due to your actions against his savior, he won’t treat you no matter the amount you are willing to pay!”

He continued, “Furthermore, Mr. Grant, your daily visits over the past few days have disrupted our operations. Dr. Simmons has warned that he will involve the police if you come back tomorrow!”

The young man on crutches grimaced in pain and whined, “Please, could you just relay my message to Dr. Simmons? I’ll give you a million dollars for delivering it!”

With a shove, the clinic staff pushed him outside and growled, “Just leave and don’t return!”

Christopher recognized the young man immediately!

It was Jason Grant!

Rumor had it that he had crossed paths with Charlie at the auto show. Following Jacob’s hospitalization, he had once again caused a scene, resulting in Don Albert shoving him out of a third-floor hospital window, which left him with broken legs.

Christopher rushed over, surprised, and asked, “Hey, Mr. Grant, what happened to you?”

“Uncle Wilson?” Jason recognized Christopher as well. He sighed heavily and replied, “Just look at me. My legs are broken, and it’s serious. The doctor mentioned that I might never walk properly again, so I came to seek help from Dr. Simmons. Yet, he wouldn’t even see me and had me thrown out…”

Christopher was taken aback and asked, “Is this because of Charlie that Dr. Simmons refuses to help you?”

“Yes…” Jason clenched his teeth and cursed, “I can’t believe even the esteemed Dr. Simmons would be swayed by that deceitful liar!”

Kenneth, equally astonished, interjected, “Oh? What’s the story? Does Uncle Simmons know Charlie too?”

Christopher nodded. “Yes, they seem to be quite close, though I’m not sure what the dynamics are between them.”

Kenneth scoffed, “Hah! My bond with Uncle Simmons is on a different level than his! I’ve known Uncle Simmons since I was three; it’s been over 50 years!”

With a confident stride, he entered the clinic and called out, “Uncle Simmons! I need your help!”

The clinic staff, who just kicked Jason out, replied, “Sir, we’re closed for the day. Please come back tomorrow if you wish to see the doctor!”

Kenneth quickly retorted, “Uncle Simmons and I are old friends! He’s a family friend!”

Anthony, having heard the commotion, stepped out of his room, surprised to see Kenneth. “Kenneth? When did you arrive in Aurous Hill? What brings you here?”

Kenneth responded, “It’s a long story. But Uncle Simmons, I’m facing an issue, and I need your help…”

“Okay, take a deep breath and tell me what’s going on,” Anthony urged.

Kenneth sighed and began to explain his peculiar condition.

As he listened to Kenneth’s account, Anthony’s frown deepened, reflecting his concern over Kenneth’s unusual ailment.
