Kenneth scanned Charlie from head to toe, a sneer forming on his lips as he remarked, “So, you’re the worthless son-in-law of the Wilson family?”

Charlie responded with a casual air, “Yes, that’s me. How can I assist you?”

Kenneth’s voice turned icy as he retorted, “I’ve heard that you’ve insulted and humiliated Wendy in the past. I’m here to make you pay for what you’ve done to her!”

Charlie nodded, his tone dismissive. “Well, we don’t have all day. If you want to avenge her, you’d best get on with it.”

Kenneth had anticipated that revealing his identity and making a few threatening comments would make Charlie grovel, but he was taken aback when this so-called ‘trash’ spoke back with such audacity! Gritting his teeth, Kenneth said, “You seem quite arrogant for someone in your position. Do you even know who I am?”

Charlie smirked and replied, “To me, you’re just a worthless piece of trash. Your identity means nothing to me.”

Kenneth seethed with anger. “I may be Kenneth Wilson, but I’m well-respected and powerful here in Aurous Hill! You’re the first person to ever speak to me like this!”

Charlie’s smile faded as he locked eyes with Kenneth, his voice steady and clear. “In Aurous Hill, even if you’re a tiger, you’ll have to lie down before me. If you’re a dragon, you’ll have to bow your head. I, Charlie Wade, am the one true dragon here!”

Taken aback by Charlie’s piercing gaze, Kenneth struggled to regain his composure. He sneered, “Wendy was right! You’re nothing but a braggart! Do you really think someone like you could be a dragon? You’re disgusting! To me, you’re just a worm!”

Kenneth then deliberately turned to Claire, grinning as he said, “Miss Claire, I’ve heard about your beauty long before today. Now that I see you in person, I must say, you truly are stunning. I can’t fathom why you’d want to spend your life with this useless husband. Why not come with me instead? I’ll treat you well and ensure a brighter future!”

After making his pitch, Kenneth gestured toward Wendy and added, “Look, Wendy agreed to be with me, and I gave her five million dollars as pocket money. If you choose to be with me, I’ll give you ten million!”

Claire shot him an angry glare. “You’re utterly shameless!”

Kenneth chuckled, “I might be a bit shameless, but I assure you, I’m quite skilled in bed. After one night with me, you’ll surely fall for me!”

Unable to tolerate Kenneth’s lewd comments any longer, Charlie raised his fist and struck Kenneth squarely in the face!

Kenneth hit the ground instantly, his nose broken and four of his front teeth knocked out by a single blow.

The shock in the hall was palpable as everyone turned their attention to Kenneth, now writhing in pain on the floor.

Meanwhile, Kenneth lay on the ground, blood streaming from his face, pointing at Charlie as he shouted in agony and fury, “You! You worthless scum! How dare you hit me?! I’ll make you pay!”
