Natala (Emerald) POV: 

Clarn 

“Is everything okay, princess? You’re scaring us over here.” Daddy said from the corner of the sofa 

beside mommy. 

I had gathered everyone, family, friends, everyone. wanted to tell them the good news about me 

being pregnant. I was planning to tell everyone the moment I woke up in the morning in a tangle of 

limbs between my mates. But of course, my mates being the horny wolves they were, didn’t let me 

out for another two hours. Ravaging my body left and right, in the bed, in the shower, anywhere 

they could get their paws on me. Which I happily accepted whatever they had to; my raging hormones weren’t complaining, so it was all peachy 

I looked over at everyone in the room. Everyone was here: my family, brothers, adopted parents, 

Luna Crystal and Alpha Alexander, and even my friends. The only two people who weren’t were 

Leah and Eli. Leah was at home resting due to doctors’ orders. She had been severely dehydrated, 

so she was put on bed rest. As much as I wanted her to be here, I knew she needed the rest more. 

Plus, she already knew what I was about to tell everyone. 

“Seriously, Nat. You’re killing us here! Spit it out already.” Hannah hissed from the side. 

Her parents gave her the stink eye, which had her whisper a sorry. 

I giggled. 

“Okay, okay. So what I wanted to tell you all is very special and something I discovered when I was 

held captive…” I started but was cut off by the low snarls coming from my brothers and mates. Ezekiel and Azreal moved in closer to me, squishing me between them. All my mates had gone into super protective mode since the morning. Even though the s*x was amazing, everything that followed was a little too much. The quads were on about how they wanted to sanitize everything in the packhouse, even the linens. Once everyone calmed down, I cleared my throat, got up from between my mates, and spoke up again. 

“…like I was saying, I found out around that time and wanted to tell you guys sooner, but I had to talk to my mates about it first…” I said, and then put a hand over my belly; the biggest smile appeared on my face as I rubbed it, thinking about our pups growing inside of me. 

I felt my mates surround me as the room went dead silent until shrieks of happiness were heard, 

and I was engulfed in a group hug between mommy, mom and aunt Michelle. 

“You’re pregnant. We’re going to be grandmas. Oh, my goddess, my baby is going to have a baby. Did you hear that, Liam?” Mommy cried out.

Tears of happiness ran down her face as she pulled back, bent down, kissed my stomach, and 

kissed my forehead. 

I chuckled with tears in my eyes and nodded as I held her hands before she moved back and made 

way for mom. 

“Sweetheart! You couldn’t have made us happier. You’re going to be a mother. I am so happy for you and the alphas.” Said mom, kissing me on the forehead and rubbing my nonexistent belly for 

now. 

“Thank you, mom. For everything. For being my mom, pillar and support throughout these years.” I said, hugging mom back 

“Well, I thought the triplets would make me a grandma, but I gave up hope on them. Goddess, I’m going to spoil those pups rotten.” Said aunt Michelle, clinging onto me as if her life depended on it. 

I heard the triplets grumble at the back but kept quiet. I couldn’t help but laugh as I hugged aunt 

Michelle back. 

“They’ll get there, auntie. Don’t worry.” I said. 

After she let go, da, daddy, dad and alpha Alexander came and hugged me one by one, each telling me how happy they were and couldn’t wait for the future alphas to come out so they could spoil 

them rotten. 

“Nutella, you’re making us old. Seriously? Uncles.” Said Josiah as he scooped me into a bear hug. 

“Easy there, big man. Don’t want her cracking your jaw again, now do we?” Chuckled Hayden from 

the back shoving Josiah away. 

Josiah grumbled, threw him the finger, and moved back, letting Isaiah hug me and then Hayden 

came forward. 

“Jokes aside, little wolf. We are really, really happy for you. Congratulations.” Said Hayden, kissing my forehead 

“At least with this, mom, we’ll be of our case about us going out and looking for our mate and knocking her up. Mom’s cool and all, but the lady can be hella demanding when she wants to be. But congratulation, little one. Can’t wait to teach those little rugrats how to spar.” Said Lucas, 

hugging me. 

I laughed and hugged him back. 

“Give auntie some slack! She only wants you guys to settle down. Maybe it is time to look for your 

Luna. You don’t know she could be right around the corner.” I said. 

“We sure hope so, little wolf. But enough of us. Tell me did you get a check-up done? Is everything okay? Do you need something?” Said, Tristan

Claim 

“I’m okay, T! The quads have hardly let me lift a finger since I got back. Plus, they have it ready before I can even think I need it,” I said. 

“As they should, little wolf. This is a hard time; we expect nothing less from the quadruplets. You are a princess, after all.” Said, Tristan 

The triplets eyed my mates, daring them to go against what Tristan had just said. 

“You do know they are our pups, too, right?” Said, Sam 

I sighed out loud. I wasn’t up for a p***s-measuring contest. Before it could get any worse, I 

ushered my friends out of the living room and away from my brothers. I left the nine to stew in 

their things while my parents, aunt, and the quad parents were busy planning a baby shower that 

was like months away. I signalled my friends to follow me since I could see them getting antsy on the side to come to talk to me, but with my brothers and mates hounding me, they chickened out. 

When we were out in the hall, I was squeezed into a group by everyone: Ela, Axel, Jeremiah, lan and 

Hannah. 

“I’m shook like legit shook. Goddess, Nat, a mom, you’re gonna be a mom. I can’t; this is so much! Congratulations, my love.” Ela said as she sniffed back her tears. 

“Here we thought we would have to deal with Leah and Ela’s monster; guess now it’ll be two to 

deal with,” Axel said as he messed up my hair and gave me a side hug. 

I playfully scowled at him and shoved his arm away Luna, princess, whatever I could be, this guy would never let this habit fall of rubbing my head like a freaking human football player. 

“Well, technically, you’ll be dealing with five,” I said, holding my tummy with both my hands looking 

down and smiling. 

Everything went silent for a second, and when I looked back up, all I saw were shocked faces. And, then, suddenly, Hannah and Ela wrapped me into another hug, this time shrieking as freaking 

banishes. Which had the boys and I chuckling at their antics 

“Damn, Nat, you’ll be swelling up like a hippo soon.” Said lan, chuckling 

Which earned me a laugh from the rest of the guys Ela and Hannah 

“Hardy, ha-ha! So funny!” I said 

“No, but jokes apart, Nat, we’re happy, all of us are! And, nothing we can say or maybe even express right now could tell you how much we’re happy for you and that you’re safe and sound back at Dark Strom with us all, where you always belonged.” Said Jeremiah, hugging me when Ela and Hannah let go. 

I sniffed, looking around at my friend group. These were my people. My friends, supporters and protectors through my difficult time and despite being ridiculed, they chose to stay. They were

there when Eli and Leah mated, which broke my heart. They were constantly there when I had 

difficulty accepting the quads. We may not have seen each other much face to face with the quads keeping me at the packhouse and all the events that followed, but that didn’t mean they didn’t 

check up on me. Every day I used to get a call or a message from each one. Telling me that they 

would always be there for me no matter what. This was my family before my actual family, and for 

them, I would always be thankful to the moon goddess. 

Just as Hannah was about to speak, I smelt my mates before I saw them as they came and 

huddled around me, blocking me from my friends. rolled my eyes. Here come the possessive 

alphas. However, that thought no longer irked me but brought a sense of happiness to my chest. 

“We know you’re excited to see your friends, and we’re glad you’re catching up, angel. But we think 

it’s time you get some rest and lay down.” Said, Zeke 

Before I could protest and tell them I was fine and wanted to spend some time with my friends, 

Ezeakil’s voice rang out. 

“Please, Luna, you can always talk to them later, or we can even take you to them later.” Said, 

Ezekiel 

I sighed! They were right; even though I may not have felt tired, I knew my body had gone through a lot, and I needed to give it a rest for constantly being in fight or flight mode these few days. I nodded and gave them a small smile. 

Holding me to his side Sam turned us around as Azreal stood on the other side while my other two mates stood by their brothers. 

“We really appreciate you all coming, but our Luna needs some rest so do the pups. However, if she’s up for seeing you all in the evening, we’ll send someone to fetch you if you’re not busy.” Said 

Azrael 

Not like my friends had much of a voice; they all nodded. Congratulating the quads and hugging me goodbye, they were on their way, with Hannah dropping them off at the door. 

Sam tugged on my hand as he intertwined our fingers, and Azreal gripped my other hand, interlacing his finger in mine as they guided me back to our room. 

“We’re sorry for sending them away, my love. But you need to rest; you’re pregnant now, so you have to think not only about yourself but the pups as well.” Said Azreal, giving the back of my hand 

a kiss 

I smiled and nodded. The whole time we walked towards our quarters, all my mates could talk about was how I was, if I needed anything and how they’ll make the OB/GYN appointment soon. The excitement in their voice and the love in their eyes made my heart flutter. How I thought they would hurt me a few weeks ago was crazy. They doted on me like I them. If I was their sun, as they were my moon. They truly were the other part of my soul: the missing piece that completed me.

Reaching our room and going inside, Zeke went to say something. 

“Angel, would you like to ea…”

However, his words were cut short when the door burst open, bouncing off the wall, and I was 

jumped on for the thousandth time today by someone. I didn’t need to look up to know that the 

smell of daisies came from only one person, who was my soul sister in every way: Hannah. 

“WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME EARLIER? Oh, my goddess, Nat! I’m going to be an auntie times two 

now, with both you and Leah expecting! Well, times four since there are four buns in the oven. Congratulations, baby girl. Goddess! I still can’t believe it!” Babbled Hannah 

I chuckled and held on to her. This girl right here was with me through thick and thin, and if I was 

standing here today bearing the quads marks and had accepted them as my mates was a lot 

because of her. She was there for me through my dark times, talked sense into me, and was my 

shoulder to cry on when needed. 

I heard the quads grumble about being gentle with me but ignoring her brothers like the spoiled 

baby sister she was. She pulled back and held my hands in her hands, tears falling down her 

cheeks. 

“You deserve this! My brothers deserve this! Thank you for accepting them, giving them a chance, 

and being the sister I never had.” Said, Hannah 

This time I chuckled as tears fell down my cheeks as I nodded at her.
