Married at First Sight Chapter 992

Chapter 992
All the villas in this area were large homes, likely constructed by affluent individuals who capitalized on the opportunity to acquire prime land in Wiltspoon during its early development.
Wealthy individuals who couldn’t afford a large plot often purchased several smaller villas and then merged and renovated them into a single spacious residence.
Elisa paused before responding, “That’s correct. That’s why so many people were eager to buy that villa once word spread that my neighbor intended to sell it.”
A group emerged from the villa.
“It’s him!”
Elisa, quick to notice, immediately recognized Remy, who was flanked by several men in black.
Serenity looked again and finally recalled, “Isn’t that Mr. Johnson from Annenburg?”
“He already owns a house in Wiltspoon. Why would he purchase another? He even spent a considerable amount on my neighbor’s villa, and most importantly, he acted faster than we did and secured the villa before we had a chance,” Elisa remarked.
Elisa wondered aloud, “Does he intend to settle down in Wiltspoon?”
Remy was primarily responsible for FC & Co.’s operations in Wiltspoon, but he frequently returned to his home in Annenburg.
While he had a villa in Wiltspoon, he hadn’t made any other real estate purchases, which was understandable given that he was originally from Annenburg and would be returning there.
Elisa felt frustrated that Remy had suddenly acquired a large villa covering more than an acre.
Serenity replied, “Isn’t it normal for wealthy individuals to own multiple properties? My husband gave me a whole collection of keys and property deeds to manage.”
She hadn’t accepted when Zachary offered her all his properties, so she hadn’t counted how many deeds he actually had. Regardless, it was a

A stack of papers sat beside several keyrings, which collectively formed a small hill of house keys.

Elisa paused and said, “You’re right…”

Just then, Remy exited the large villa and was about to get into his car when a bodyguard whispered something to him. He turned around and noticed Elisa and Serenity. After a brief moment of hesitation, he walked over to the two women.

As Remy approached, Elisa opened the villa door and smiled at him.

“We meet again, Mr. Johnson,” she greeted.

Remy returned her smile. “Yes, we do.”

He nodded in acknowledgment to Serenity. “Hello, Mrs. York.”

“Mr. Johnson,” Serenity replied politely.

Elisa asked, “Did you purchase that villa, Mr. Johnson?”

“Yes, I did.”

“You’re quite informed! We’ve been neighbors with the Zimmers for over ten years, so we thought we would be the first to hear the news. However, when our family tried to buy the villa from them, we were informed it had already been sold. I was curious about who the buyer was, though I didn’t expect it to be you.”

Remy chuckled and explained, “I bought Zimmer Corp. After learning that Mr. Zimmer wanted to sell his villa to settle his debts, I returned with him to take a look and decided to purchase it. Now that you mention it, I’m glad I acted quickly. Otherwise, the villa might have ended up in your hands.”

Elisa smiled. “Looks like we’re neighbors now. You’re planning to renovate the villa, right?”

“Yes, I am. I’m not a fan of the current interior design, so I’ll hire a designer to create new plans for the layout.”

“I didn’t expect you to want to redecorate.”

Remy replied, “There’s nothing wrong with redecorating a house you’ve just bought.”
