Married at First Sight Chapter 774

Chapter 774
Zachary spent two hours preparing dinner.
As he admired the table filled with Serenity’s favorite dishes that he had personally cooked, he felt a rare moment of whimsy. He pulled out his phone to snap a photo and posted it on his
social media.
After his last post, he had taken a long break from social media.
As soon as the photo was shared, his friends and important clients quickly liked it and left comments.
“Mr. York, can I still make it over in time?”
“Mr. York, I’m just now realizing you’re actually a great cook.”
“Mr. York, hurry and send some over—I’ll help you finish it!”
“Mrs. York is truly fortunate. I’m so jealous! I worked for you for years and never got to taste your cooking.” This comment came from Josh.
After posting the photo, Zachary put his phone back in his pocket, unaware of his friends’ likes and comments.
He then returned to the bedroom.
At that moment, Serenity had just finished her bath and was stepping out of the bathroom.
Upon seeing him, she muttered in frustration, “This is so unfair.”
Zachary chuckled and approached her. Leaning down slightly, he whispered in her ear, “That’s because you don’t practice enough, so your stamina can’t keep up. We can practice more from now on, and you’ll be able to keep up.”
In response, his beloved wife pinched him.
“Ouch!”
Zachary exaggerated his pained expression as he exclaimed.
“Honey, that’s attempted mariticide!”
Serenity relaxed her grip. “You sounded like a pig heading to slaughter. In the past, you didn’t even flinch when I did the same thing.”

“Does it hurt a lot? If it does, I’ll let you pinch me back,” she said.

Zachary gently caressed her face and replied, “How could I do that? I’d much rather spoil you.”

“Your words have become as sweet as honey lately,” she remarked.

“In the past, getting you to speak was like pulling teeth,” he recalled.

Noticing that she had washed her hair, Zachary went to fetch the hairdryer. As he helped her dry her hair, he added, “Back then, it was just a marriage of convenience. Now, we truly are husband and wife.”

Things had changed.

“Is dinner ready?” she asked.

“It’s ready. Once I finish drying your hair, we’ll eat. I made all your favorite dishes,” he responded.

Serenity felt a warm flutter in her heart.

Whenever he cooked, everything he prepared was to her liking. However, when she cooked, only half the dishes were his favorites; the other half were hers.

He truly gave his all to her, while she only offered him half.

Serenity realized that her love for Zachary didn’t match the depth of his feelings for her, and she felt a bit guilty about it. She resolved to make it up to him in the future.

“There’s such an abundance of food and so many varieties, Zachary! You haven’t revealed your full culinary skills in the past, have you?” Serenity asked, pulling out her phone as they sat at the dining table a few minutes later.

“I’m going to snap a few photos to share on social media and tempt everyone,” she announced.

Zachary watched her take the pictures with affection.

Serenity posted her photos with the caption, “My husband’s cooking skills have surprised me!”

Jasmine, who had been invited out to dinner by Josh, saw Serenity’s post and immediately handed her phone to Josh for him to see.

“What’s going on?” Josh inquired as he looked at the screen.

He picked up the phone. He was rendered speechless the moment he saw Serenity’s post. The couple’s posts, one after another, were essentially a public display of affection, showcasing their love for everyone to see. Wasn’t that a bit excessive? Jasmine remarked, “I never expected the seemingly cold and aloof Zachary to be such a great cook. He’s multi-talented and treats his wife wonderfully. He’s the ideal husband! I must admit, I feel quite envious seeing Serenity so happy.”
