“Sir,” he said. It wasn’t as if Mr. Zachary could simply ask him to find a girlfriend. It was actually Old Mrs. York who had assisted Mr. Zachary in leaving behind his single life.
“Wedding anniversary…” Zachary murmured to himself. When had he and Serenity obtained their marriage license? The details eluded him at the moment.
Uh-oh. Zachary couldn’t even recall their wedding anniversary. He needed to retrieve the marriage license from the safe when he got home to confirm the date. He planned to engrave it in his memory so he would never forget it again. That date marked the day he and Serenity tied the knot.
Zachary also had no idea when Serenity’s birthday was. Uh-oh again. He professed his love for Serenity, yet he didn’t even know the day she was born. He had caught a glimpse of her birthdate when they were applying for the marriage license, but he hadn’t deemed it necessary to remember. However, he was confident he had saved her birthdate somewhere in his phone.
Zachary quickly checked his phone for Serenity’s birthday and found it—it was in September. That felt like a long wait to be honest about everything. While he couldn’t recall the exact date of their marriage, he was certain it was somewhere in October. That meant their wedding anniversary was an even longer wait.
Should he consider Valentine’s Day instead? It was fast approaching.
“Sir, your wedding anniversary is on the 10th of October,” he was informed.
