Married at First Sight Chapter 733

Chapter 733
“What time is it? And he’s still not awake?”
“Zachary is always busy and often works overtime for social engagements. Let him sleep a little longer.”
Tania remarked, “It’s typical for him to work until midnight before coming home, yet he still gets up early the next morning for his run. He’s only being lazy now because you’re here. Serenity, you shouldn’t indulge him. Whether it’s men or women, you’ll be the one who suffers if you spoil them too much.”
“Mom, are you talking about me behind my back?”
Zachary emerged from his room dressed in a suit, radiating charm and looking dashing.
However, he hadn’t put on his suit jacket and his tie was not yet fastened.
He held both items in his hands.
Tania got up and approached him. “You come out just as I call you lazy. Good thing I wasn’t scolding you.”
“The weather has warmed slightly over the past couple of days, but it’s still chilly in the mornings. Quickly put on your jacket so you don’t catch another cold and wear out Serenity again.”
Tania reached for his jacket, intending to help him put it on, which was a habit she had when caring for her husband.
Zachary quickly put on the jacket himself.
He actually wanted Serenity to help him with it.
He also tied his tie.
From the kitchen, Serenity’s voice called out, “Mom, if he catches a cold again, let him get injections every day.”
Zachary’s handsome face fell.
Tania chuckled. “Zack’s greatest fear is needles.”
Tania’s eyes sparkled,

her less. “Serenity is simply looking out for you and wants you to recover quickly. Remember, you were the one who complained about the side effects of the medication; that’s when she suggested injections instead. There’s nothing wrong with that,” she said, her attitude remaining unchanged.

“You need to take care of yourself and don’t make me worry about you. Additionally, while Serenity doesn’t have to manage the store right now, you shouldn’t let her do everything. Lend her a hand with the chores when you can.”

“Look, she got up early to work in the kitchen while you’ve been sleeping in,” Tania chided Zachary.

In the kitchen, Serenity suddenly realized why Zachary had asked her to wear an apron before opening the door for her mother-in-law. It was so Tania could see how hard she was working.

That man was still supporting her.

Serenity’s affection for Zachary deepened even more.

Zachary was helping to improve the relationship between them, making them feel a bit closer.

It is often said that mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law are natural adversaries, but they both loved the same man. As long as he acted as a mediator, they could coexist peacefully.

Although Tania wasn’t entirely pleased with Serenity, Zachary knew how to ease the tension. He intentionally allowed his mother to witness how Serenity cared for him, spoiled him, and worked diligently.

Women who married into the York family were pampered by their husbands and couldn’t tolerate men giving orders while doing nothing. A man shouldn’t just leave everything to his wife and nitpick her efforts.

Therefore, Zachary instructed Serenity to greet his mother while wearing an apron, so Tania would think Serenity had risen early to make breakfast while he continued to rest. This way, his mother would feel sympathetic toward Serenity and be less critical.

him instead.

As a son, he was indifferent to his mother’s scoldings.
“Mom, isn’t it normal for Serenity to wake up early to prepare breakfast and tidy up the house? That’s what all women do.”
