Serenity smiled and said, “My husband texts me whenever he has time. We stay in touch regularly, and our marriage is in a much better place now.”

She even kept her argument with Zachary from her sister, let alone from her aunt’s family, as Serenity didn’t want to worry her aunt.

“Relationships take time to develop. You’ve been married for three months now, so it’s only natural for your marriage to improve.”

Elisa leaned in and whispered eagerly, “How are things between Josh and Jasmine? I’m dying to know.”

Josh was Zachary’s right-hand man and came from a family known for their expertise in intelligence.

Elisa couldn’t believe that Jasmine went on a blind date with Josh.

She thought about how much she could earn by selling this information to the press, but Elisa didn’t need the money. Being friends with Jasmine, she wasn’t the type to betray her friends.

Elisa decided to keep their secret until Josh was ready to go public. The last thing she wanted was for the media to swarm Jasmine and disrupt her peace.

After Serenity replied to Zachary’s text, she chuckled and said, “Didn’t my aunt mention wanting to throw a party tomorrow night? Have Alice send Jasmine an invitation and ask your brother to extend one to Mr. Bucham, so they can both attend. You can see how things are going between them then.”

Elisa’s eyes lit up as she giggled, “You’ve thought this through! I wanted to invite Jasmine anyway since she’s your best friend and my new friend. I wouldn’t feel right leaving her out of the party.”

“But Josh might not come,” she added, aware that he was the executive assistant at York Corporation.

Serenity smiled. “Tell your brother to let Mr.

Bucham is aware that Ms. Sox will be attending, which should be sufficient reason for him to join the party. My aunt organized this family event to introduce my sister and me to everyone, and it isn’t business-related. Mr. Bucham can attend as a member of the Bucham family.

Elisa thought Serenity made an excellent suggestion. She said to her brother and sister-in-law, “Clive, please send a few invitations to the Buchams and ensure Josh receives one. Alice, could you help me deliver an invitation to Jasmine? She’s a good friend of both mine and Serenity’s.”

This afternoon, Elisa planned to take her mother, Serenity, and her sister shopping. Since Alice and Clive were the heads of the household, Elisa needed to inform them of her plans. Clive and his wife agreed to Elisa’s request.
