Married at First Sight Chapter 621

Chapter 621
“Don’t go out, Seren. I’ll handle him,” Jasmine said, rushing to the entrance of the bookshop to intercept Shawn. Grabbing his arm, she forcefully pulled him away.
Shawn struggled to keep pace with his cousin’s swift movements, attempting to resist the pull, but Jasmine dragged him all the way to his car with sheer determination.
“Unlock the car door!”
Jasmine commanded, her expression stern.
Shawn cast her a disgruntled look.
“I said, unlock the car door!” Jasmine reiterated firmly. Although she was shorter than Shawn, she stood her ground, her icy gaze fixed on him until he finally unlocked the door.
Jasmine opened the door and pushed him into the car.
“Jas, I’m here for you, not Serenity.”
Reluctantly taking the passenger seat, Shawn watched as Jasmine buckled him in.
“Sit tight and don’t get out of the car!”
Jasmine ordered before shutting the door and entering from the other side.
She acted quickly and decisively, starting the car and driving off just as Serenity emerged from the shop.
Serenity did not appear pleased.
After everything she had said to Shawn, he still came looking for her. Was he trying to persuade her to relocate her shop or to force her and Jasmine to sever their partnership?
Fortunately, the break was starting tomorrow, so Serenity didn’t need to be at the shop. She could work on her crafts at home.
Serenity soon turned her attention away and continued packing up, moving the display racks at the door back into the shop.
Meanwhile, Jasmine sped along the road.
Despite Shawn’s attempts to engage her in conversation, Jasmine refused to respond.
Peevishly, Shawn exclaimed, “Where are you taking me? I’m talking to you! Why are you—”

“Are you ignoring me? I can’t have feelings for Serenity anymore, but does that mean I can’t see my own cousin?”

“Then don’t come to the shop if Serenity is there.”

Jasmine tilted her head and glared at him. “Shawn, are you trying to force Serenity to move her shop elsewhere or end our business partnership?”

Shawn turned pale and replied stubbornly, “I didn’t know Serenity was at the shop, Jas. I’ve been having a tough time at work, and I just want to confide in you.”

He had always had a strong bond with his cousin, often turning to her for support during difficult times.

While he had many male cousins, he lacked the courage to approach them directly. Instead, he would inform Jasmine, and she would relay the message to the others, ensuring they all rallied to support him.

His parents were kind to Jasmine’s family, not only because they were relatives, but also because Jasmine was more supportive, helpful, and protective of him than other family members.
