“Fun.”
Grandma May was becoming more childlike as she aged.
Meanwhile, Liberty received a text from her sister, revealing that they were related to Mrs. Stone. To her delight, Serenity and Mrs. Stone were coming to pick her up from work. Liberty was ecstatic.
She quickly tended to her responsibilities. As soon as it was time to clock out, she grabbed her keys and stuffed her phone into her pockets before rushing out of the office.
People were giving her odd looks on her way out, but Liberty was accustomed to it.
In her cheerful mood, she had no time for the trivialities of her colleagues.
She made her way to the motorbike parking area and located her ride. Liberty pulled her e-bike out, feeling its weight. It took considerable effort to move.
What was happening?
Once she had it out of the parking spot, she noticed the wheel was flat.
Oh no, she had a flat tire.
That explained the heaviness she felt while pushing the e-bike.
Everything had been fine when she rode to work, but somehow the tire had gotten punctured.
Fortunately, her sister was coming to pick her up.
Liberty struggled to push the e-bike with the flat tire out of the office building.
“Liberty!”
An angry voice called out.

Chapter 594
I know you and your sister aren’t easy to fool, but I just want to do right by my sister,” Mrs. Stone said.
Serenity remained silent.
The aunt and niece spent the afternoon engaged in conversation.
Mrs. Stone insisted on accompanying Serenity to pick up Liberty from Lewis & Co. at five o’clock in the evening, and Serenity obliged.
Taking the wheel, Serenity drove Sonny, Mrs. Stone, and the others to Lewis & Co.
Jasmine and Mrs. Lane chose not to join them.
Halfway there, Serenity suddenly thought of Grandma May.
She hadn’t seen the elderly woman all afternoon.
Serenity quickly called Grandma May.
As soon as the call connected, she asked, “Nana, where have you been?”
“I was out for a walk. Are you heading home? I’ll take a cab back then,” Grandma May replied.
She had actually been at Mr. Charles’ shop the entire time, careful not to show her face for fear that Mrs. Stone might spot her.
“Nana, the DNA test results for Mrs. Stone and me are in. She’s my aunt. Aunt Audrey wants me and Liberty to have dinner at her place, so I’m picking up my sister and taking Sonny with me. You should return with Mrs. Lane.”
“Really? Congratulations on finding your aunt, Serenity!” Grandma May exclaimed.
She continued, “Don’t worry about me and Cecilia. Callum will pick us up after work. Go ahead and spend more time at your aunt’s place. It took decades for her to find you; it must be difficult for her.”
“If you want to stay the night at your aunt’s, that’s fine. Just let me know.”
Serenity smiled and replied, “Sure, I’ll inform you if I decide to stay over.”
After hanging up, Serenity muttered to herself, “No wonder I didn’t see her all afternoon. She was off doing something.”
