Married at First Sight Chapter 579

Chapter 579
Serenity laughed and said, “Chelsea, you should go wash your face in the bathroom sink. Oh, wait, there’s no faucet anymore. My sister paid for all the water pipes, so we sawed them off. I guess you’ll just have to relieve yourself and see your reflection in it. Just look at how big your face is.”
“My sister and your brother are divorced; they have nothing to do with each other now. How can you ask my sister to find you a place to stay? Is it her fault you don’t have a home? You brought this on yourselves.”
“If you had compensated my sister for her losses, you would have a place to stay now. Alas, it’s really cold today. I wonder if you can manage to sleep in a house full of holes.”
“But you all have thick skin and flesh. If you huddle together, you might withstand the biting cold wind.”
“If there’s nothing else, I’m hanging up now. It’s very warm under the covers, and I’m going to catch up on sleep. Bye.”
Serenity hung up the phone.
Then, she blocked Olivia’s number to prevent any further harassment.
After Serenity hung up, Chelsea was furious and exclaimed, “That woman really gets on my nerves! Her words are so sharp. How can her man tolerate her?! Mom, what do we do now?” she asked her mother.
“We’re already here with the family, and we told everyone back home we’re spending New Year’s in the city. We can’t go back now, can we?”
“Mommy, hug.”
Lucas woke up in his father’s arms and reached out for his mother to carry him.
Chelsea hugged her son in frustration.
She turned to her father and said, “Dad, I told you not to agree to Liberty’s request from the start and not to transfer…”

You gave her the money. Look! Now we can’t even find anyone to reach out to her. She won’t care about us now that she has the money.”

“It’ll be difficult to see Sonny again in the future. You’ve all been deceived by her.”

Chelsea had been struggling with everything lately, and her temper was fraying.

There was nothing to do at work, so management granted her an early annual leave, while everyone else continued working.

Chelsea felt as though her workplace was trying to push her out.

“Call Hank again.”

Mr. Brown added, “Liberty has evidence against Hank. If we don’t comply with her, Hank could lose his job. He’s making a lot now, and losing his job would be a much greater loss.”

“It’s perfectly reasonable for Liberty to block us. Given what you and your mother just said to Serenity, it’s no surprise she would block us. Why would she allow you to continue harassing her? Once you all calm down and stop pestering her, she will certainly contact Hank and let him see the child.”

Moreover, even if we don’t know Liberty’s whereabouts, Serenity won’t relocate her store. We can still reach Liberty if we go to Serenity’s store. Call Hank and ask him to find us a place to stay. In the meantime, tell him to come over first. He sighed heavily, lamenting the chaos.

A good family has been torn apart, along with my personal finances. Olivia sat on a suitcase, distressed, and said, “Following Chelsea’s suggestion, I approached that woman’s grandfather and paid him to persuade Serenity to convince Liberty not to divorce Hank.”

However, he accepted the money but failed to fulfill my request. They still ended up divorced.

My son lost over a million for no reason, and the house renovations were ruined. Consequently, our losses are now even greater than anticipated.
I advised them not to divorce because the costs are simply too high. Olivia cried as she spoke; it was all about the money. Everyone in the family, except Lucas, turned their gaze toward Olivia.
