Married at First Sight Chapter 559

Chapter 559
Hank was furious, while Serenity felt that the day had gone spectacularly well.
After she and her husband left Liberty’s newly rented apartment, she laughed the entire way home.
Zachary found her amusing. “Don’t laugh too hard or you’ll hurt your stomach.”
“I’ll still be happy even if my stomach hurts. Hank must be home by now. I wonder how he reacted when he saw the state of his place. He probably thought he entered the wrong house. Haha, I can’t help but laugh just thinking about it!”
“Let me join in on the fun too!”
Zachary soon fell under Serenity’s spell of laughter.
He laughed so hard that he nearly collided with a streetlight. He swerved in fright and managed to avoid an accident.
Serenity was so startled by the near miss that she stopped laughing.
Once it was safe, she said, “Zachary, is your driving okay? I can take over if you’d like. I’m an excellent driver, and racing won’t be a problem either.”
“I got my driver’s license when I was eighteen; I’m an experienced driver. That was just a momentary lapse. I laughed too hard and got distracted.”
Serenity was a little taken aback before finally saying, “Alright, I won’t talk to you anymore. Just focus on driving.”
She turned to the elderly woman in the backseat. Noticing that she appeared to be sleeping, she reminded her husband, “Nana is asleep. Please turn down the music.”
Zachary complied.
Mrs. Lane had stayed at Liberty’s house and did not come back with them.
Serenity yawned. “I’m feeling sleepy too.”
“We’re almost home.”
“I’ll just take a quick nap. Wake me up when we arrive.”
“Your nap will last until morning. Don’t sleep yet. We’re only ten minutes away. Let’s chat.” Serenity shot him a sidelong glance. “We might end up in an accident if I talk to you.”
Zachary was…

leave her speechless.

After a moment, he spoke, “Serenity, no one in my life has ever confronted me like that, except for you. I’m being honest.”

Serenity leaned against the headrest and pulled out her phone to watch some short clips. A few of them were particularly amusing, which helped to dispel her sleepiness as they finally arrived home.

Grandma May appeared to have an internal alarm clock, waking up just as Zachary parked the car.

Everyone was exhausted after a long day of work. Grandma May didn’t tease the couple and simply headed upstairs to wash up and go to bed.

She was already aware that the young couple was living together, meaning Serenity was no longer shy about it. She began moving her personal items into Zachary’s room.

Zachary observed her as she carried her belongings one by one, his eyes reflecting warmth and affection.

He cherished the feeling of having each other in their lives.

He handed her pajamas, saying softly, “Go take a shower first, Seren. It’s quite late. You should rest early and sort everything out tomorrow.”

“What time is it?” Serenity inquired, reaching for her phone to check the time.

“It’s half-past eleven!”

She muttered, “It’s so late. I’m going to take a shower.”

Taking the pajamas he offered, she gathered her toiletries and entered the bathroom.

When she emerged, Zachary had already organized her skincare products.

“Seren, I arranged them for you. What do you think? Which brand do you usually use?”

Zachary was seeking some approval.

Serenity gave it a quick glance before climbing into bed, curling up with her hands over her stomach.

Her stomach ached.

In the past, she would only experience abdominal pain on the first day of her period. However, this time, it had just started to…

She is hurt today, possibly due to running around and overworking herself throughout the day.
