Zachary remained silent as they arrived at York Corporation. He parked the car and turned to look at Serenity.
She was gazing back at him, smiling. “We’re at your office. Shouldn’t you be getting out now? Why are you staring at me?”
Zachary continued to watch her intently. After a moment, Serenity leaned in, wrapped her arms around his neck, and pulled him closer for a kiss.
Unsatisfied with her light peck, he took the initiative to deepen the kiss.
Reluctantly, he stepped out of the car after their kiss. The couple’s feelings for each other grew stronger each day. Zachary, who had never experienced love before, wished he could become a piece of gum, sticking closely to Serenity and never separating from her. Unfortunately, he couldn’t transform into gum.
“Don’t go back to the store since you’ve closed it. Go home and get some rest,” he advised.
“I still need to finish my orders, so I’ll head to the shop,” she replied.
They needed to head to the store to get their supplies. Moreover, students often required items after school in the evening.
