Zachary’s eyes widened in surprise. After Serenity kissed him gently—not once, but twice—she quickly pushed the car door open to exit. However, his reflexes were quicker.

He grabbed her arm, pulling her back into the car. He twisted his body as much as he could, holding her tightly before pressing a commanding kiss on her lips.

After the kiss, Serenity maintained her composure and said, “Your kissing skills are improving. I enjoyed that.”

She then opened the car door and stepped out calmly.

Zachary watched as she walked leisurely toward the store. Once she was out of sight, she rushed into the washroom.

As soon as the door closed, she splashed water on her face, feeling her cheeks flush.

After what felt like a long time, when her face was no longer red in the mirror, she took a napkin and wiped her face thoroughly. She then walked out of the washroom with a calm demeanor.
