Married at First Sight Chapter 1724

It was even better than the beautiful poems she had copied.
There were words written on the back of the letterhead.
He flipped it over to take a look.
It read: “I’m going for a run in the morning; we’ll have breakfast together later.”
Zachary happily folded the letter, placed it back into the envelope, then opened the drawer and tucked the love letter inside.
He stood up, walked to the window, pulled back the heavy curtains, and sunlight flooded in instantly.
In summer, the morning sun could be quite dazzling.
After the hot summer, cool autumn would arrive, marking the day he and Serenity would celebrate their wedding.
What Zachary looked forward to most was the arrival of the manifestation of love between him and Serenity.
The master had assured the young couple that the manifestation of their love would be announced in autumn, and until then, no matter how loving they were, a child would not come.
Young–Johnson of FC & Co. now had a pair of sons and daughters, which made Zachary genuinely envious.
When the child turned a month old, he planned to take Jane to celebrate with full moon wine.
They would also attend the Hundred Days Banquet.
Zachary considered suggesting to Young–Johnson that he become the godfather of the two children, allowing him to share in Young–Johnson’s joy and see if he and Serenity could also have twins.
If Serenity couldn’t have twins, a daughter would still be wonderful.
This was the wish of the entire York family; they simply hoped Serenity would have a daughter.
Of course, Zachary would never voice these thoughts in front of Serenity.
Whenever children were mentioned, even other people’s children, Serenity would reflect on her own situation. After being married for so long, she and

Zachary was also very affectionate. The bed sheets had been rolled countless times, yet she hadn’t discovered a child. During their honeymoon, Jasmine became pregnant, which added to Serenity’s stress. No one dared to mention the child in her presence, fearing it might lead her into a downward spiral again.

Zachary worried that his wife was too busy and allowed her to remain preoccupied, believing that if she stayed occupied, she wouldn’t think about having children. He admired his beloved wife as she wore sportswear and sneakers, running in the yard with her long hair tied back, fluttering left and right as she moved.

Zachary’s gaze followed Serenity’s figure until, after a while, he turned away from the window. Soon, he changed into his tracksuit and went downstairs. Serenity had completed two laps and was planning to return to the house when she spotted Zachary coming out. She smiled and waited for him to approach. “I was about to go back inside, but why don’t I run two more laps with you?” she suggested.

“By the way, has Sonny woken up yet?” she added. As they ran side by side, Zachary inquired about his nephew.

“Not yet; when I got up, he was still sleeping,” Zachary replied with a hum. He then asked, “Would you like to go to the hospital to see Duncan together later?”

Although Duncan didn’t want to see them, Zachary visited the hospital daily. Having been friends for many years, they were like brothers. Before Duncan fully recovered, Zachary wanted to visit him because he genuinely cared about Duncan’s injury and sincerely hoped for his swift recovery.
