Married at First Sight Chapter 1725

Zachary was not surprised; Mrs. Lewis’s insides twisted with regret over Duncan’s current state. She would gladly do anything to help him recover, even if it meant kneeling and begging Liberty.

“Is Duncan willing to see his sister?” Zachary asked, concern evident in his voice.

Serenity replied, “I didn’t ask, but if my sister chooses to care for Mr. Lewis, she will always find a way to enter the ward.”

As a true sister, Serenity understood her sibling well.

Zachary nodded, “I hope Duncan isn’t too stubborn and recovers soon.”

Reflecting on Duncan’s past and comparing it to his present situation, Zachary empathized with his friend. If he were in Duncan’s shoes, he would likely struggle to regain his confidence.

“He will be fine,” Zachary reassured himself.

Serenity suggested, “Let’s jog a bit more. When Sonny wakes up, we can have breakfast together and let Jim take him to class. Summer vacation is approaching, and my bookstore will be closed for two months. What are your thoughts on summer vacation?”

In previous years, she had traveled to admire the beautiful landscapes of their homeland during summer break.

“Summer vacation is for students. I’m a working adult, so I don’t get one,” Zachary said with a smile as he jogged. “But if there’s a place you want to go, let me know, and I’ll start working overtime. As soon as I can, I’ll join you.”

“True, I’m busy now too. Unlike before, when students were on vacation, I could take a break as well,” Serenity responded.

Feeling a bit tired after a few laps, she switched to walking. “Let’s discuss it later. Sonny is three years old now, and I want to take him out to broaden his horizons. After summer vacation, he’ll be in the middle…”

class of kindergarten.”
