Married at First Sight Chapter 976

Chapter 976
Zachary found it difficult to give Serenity anything because she expressed no desire for anything.
Serenity was quite a stubborn woman!
Yet, Zachary loved her dearly!
“Regarding the etiquette lessons we discussed with you and Serenity…”
“Mom, she has asked her aunt for assistance with this. Starting tonight, she’ll be attending social events with her aunt. With Mrs. Stone guiding her, it will be a quicker and more efficient process than taking a formal etiquette class.”
Tania responded, “Alright. I’ll step back from this. If she wants, I can take her to social events as well.”
As Serenity’s mother-in-law, Tania had not spent much time with her. Furthermore, she believed Zachary was out of Serenity’s league. If she were the one to introduce Serenity into high society, their seemingly cordial relationship would likely suffer as Tania’s critical nature would emerge.
Tania understood Serenity’s decision to seek guidance from Mrs. Stone.
Mrs. Stone had once been a formidable businesswoman. With Mrs. Stone mentoring Serenity, Tania felt confident that Serenity would navigate Zachary’s social circle successfully.
“I’ll keep track of everyone’s birthdays so that our family has occasions to host celebrations. At least Serenity can practice at home.”
Zachary said with a smile, “You can discuss this with Nana and the other aunts. You ladies can manage the domestic matters.”
His mother believed Serenity was not the right match for him. However, Tania refrained from harming Serenity in any way, even keeping her disapproval private.
Compared to mothers who intrude forcefully into their children’s relationships, Zachary thought his mom was quite open-minded.
Tania had some work to do now.
After finishing a call with his mother, Zachary put everything away.

in his work. He deserves to earn more money and make his wife the richest woman in Wiltspoon.

A black sedan parked at a distance, with someone inside keeping an eye on the All You Can Eat diner.

“Do you see that overweight woman? That’s Hank’s ex-wife, Liberty,” Jessica said to her brother, pointing at Liberty as she enjoyed her breakfast. “She took a large portion of Hank’s money after their divorce, which is why he couldn’t afford the $777,777 for the renovations on Jack’s and your home, as well as new cars.”

Oscar watched for a moment before turning to his sister. “Jessica, what do you want me to do about it?”

“My mother-in-law and sister-in-law regret severing ties with her. Fortunately, Hank is still on my side, but he frequently visits to see their son, or so he claims. I’m not thrilled about it, but I’m not pregnant, and I don’t have a child of my own, so I can’t prevent Hank from spending time with his son.”

“Find some troublemakers to cause a disturbance at her diner once it opens. Nothing too extreme or violent; I just want her reputation and business ruined,” Jessica instructed her brother.

“Remember, her aunt is married to the Stone family, which owns Stone Group, and her sister is married into the wealthiest family in the city. Just look for something that will drive her out of business. I’m just repaying her for what she did. Hank and I lost our jobs because of her.”

Though Jessica considered escalating the situation, she lacked the courage to do so. She feared retribution from Zachary and the Stones.

“Why should she be enjoying life while I’m suffering? There can only be one winner between us, and it has to be me!”

The thought that her in-laws favored Liberty gnawed at Jessica. She believed she deserved to be the victor.

Despite this, she faced more challenges than Liberty. Jessica struggled to accept reality.
