Married at First Sight Chapter 798

Chapter 798
It would take a few days for their order to be processed.
Serenity and Jasmine needed to gather all the study materials required for the students ahead of the new school term before classes resumed.
They should know the necessary materials in advance so they could place the order in time.
As Jasmine put the mop back in the closet, she said, “I figured out what we needed last night and made a list. It’s in my bag. You can check it and call the supplier to arrange delivery in the next few days.”
During the first days of school, students would purchase the materials assigned by their teachers or recommended by the school. This would be the busiest time for the shop.
Serenity asked her sister and Mrs. Lane to help out at the shop on the first day of school.
Liberty had contacted a contractor to remodel her restaurant. Now that they had agreed on a price, the renovations would start in a few days.
Since the students would return before the restaurant renovations began, Liberty would be able to assist her sister.
“Let me check,” Serenity said.
Sitting behind the cash register, she retrieved the list from Jasmine’s bag and powered on the computer to enter the information into an Excel spreadsheet.
Jasmine moved closer.
She pulled up a chair and sat next to Serenity, watching her as she booted up the computer.
Once the computer was ready, Serenity opened Spotify and selected a song. It was nice to have music while working, and she chose “Miss You.”
“This song again? You really like it, huh?”
“Yeah. I heard it on the radio during a ride in Zachary’s car, and I thought it was beautiful,” Serenity replied.
“Oh, I’ve been meaning to ask—did Mr. York do anything special for today?” Jasmine suddenly inquired.
Serenity asked in confusion, “Does he need to do something today? Is today a special occasion?”
Jasmine replied with a grin, “You’ll find out when you check the calendar.”
“February fourteenth. What’s significant about today?”
Serenity questioned, before it dawned on her. Curling her lips, she responded, “Oh, Valentine’s Day. I don’t really understand special occasions. Every day feels like Valentine’s Day when our relationship is strong. The day doesn’t matter if we aren’t getting along.”
“I knew you wouldn’t care about special occasions. Your husband probably feels the same. I don’t see him planning anything yet.”
“Did Mr. Bucham do anything for you?”
Jasmine choked out, “No.”
She then added, “He’s probably just like Mr. York. They don’t seem to learn from the world around them and send flowers on Valentine’s Day.”
Serenity smiled and opened her browser. This was her routine: listening to music while checking for news before starting her work.
She had barely opened a webpage when a pop-up appeared in the bottom right corner of her screen.
Serenity glanced quickly and saw it was about some hot gossip. Disinterested, she was about to close the pop-up…
“Don’t close it, Seren. Look closer. It’s about the heir of the York family. Come on, click on it. Mr. York hasn’t been in the news for a while.”
Although the fun-loving Jasmine believed she would never meet Mr. York in person, she was eager for some gossip about the heir. She was dying to discover who his beloved wife was.
