Married at First Sight Chapter 568

Chapter 568
Clive let out a sigh.
Regret is an inevitable part of life.
Serenity visited her sister’s new home to pick up Mrs. Lane and Sonny before heading to the shop with Zachary.
Although she didn’t intend to ride in Zachary’s car, she accepted his offer to drive her as he insisted on accompanying her.
Sonny was in a much better situation now that his mother was spending quality time with him. With his newfound comfort in Mrs. Lane’s company, Liberty could finally return to work.
Liberty couldn’t afford a long leave since she was still on probation.
Once they arrived at the shop, Zachary reminded Serenity, “Don’t forget the Eternal diamond ring.”
Serenity replied, “I’ll put it on now. I promise it will always be on my finger.”
She then went behind the cash register and unlocked the drawer with a key. Inside, the expensive diamond ring rested quietly in the corner.
Zachary watched with a grimace.
Her casual attitude toward the ring surprised him.
Serenity retrieved the ring and slipped it onto her ring finger.
She had removed the temporary gold ring she wore last night before heading to work today.
“Look at this!”
Serenity proudly displayed her hand.
Zachary felt a sense of satisfaction at last.
“You need to hurry and get to work. You’re going to be late.”
Zachary was at a loss for words.
All she did was urge him to move faster.
She wasn’t clingy at all.
H
“Sonny!”
As Jasmine emerged from inside, she spotted Sonny and approached him with a smile. She took Sonny from Mrs. Lane.
Jasmine nodded at Zachary.
Zachary had hoped for a kiss from his wife before heading to work, but Jasmine’s presence dashed that wish. He offered a faint hum of acknowledgment in response to Jasmine and glanced at the woman whose attention had shifted away from him. Turning on his heel,

He left. He paused after a few steps and turned back to look at Serenity. Serenity extended her arm to show her best friend the ring, as Jasmine had noticed the rock on Serenity’s finger. Serenity was too preoccupied to pay any attention to Zachary. A certain someone felt down because, to Serenity, Jasmine was more important than him. Sigh.

Two minutes later, Zachary drove away in his car. His vehicle hadn’t gone more than a hundred meters when he came across Elisa’s sports car. Since both were driving quickly, they didn’t pay much attention to the other driver as they passed. However, as Elisa caught sight of Zachary’s car, she quickly glanced back at it. By then, it was already out of sight. Despite that, she could still make out the license plate number and the logo; it was a national MPV.

Had her eyes deceived her? She had caught a glimpse of the driver as they drove by, and it appeared to be Zachary.
