Married at First Sight Chapter 479

Chapter 479
Serenity was taken aback. She recalled how hard she had studied in high school to gain acceptance into a reputable university.
In contrast, Zachary and his brothers could easily gain admission to a good university and had even skipped a few grades.
“Serenity, don’t look so defeated that you’re questioning your existence. The one who’s been hit hardest is me.”
Serenity reflected on this and agreed. Rowan was indeed the most unfortunate one here. She chuckled and said, “Don’t be discouraged, Rowan. I believe you can get into a good university. You’ve got this!”
“I need to get into the same university as my brothers did. If I don’t succeed, I’ll… retake the exam.”
He wanted to add that if he failed, he would slap himself twice. However, after some thought, he decided it was wiser to keep that to himself.
Zachary glanced at his brother before refocusing on the road. “If you fail, don’t claim to be my brother.”
Rowan was left speechless.
“Zachary, don’t put too much pressure on Rowan.”
“The boy enjoys playing games and isn’t worried about his studies at all. He needs some pressure.”
Rowan hesitated before responding, “Not everyone is as disciplined as you, Zack.”
He was so self-disciplined that if it weren’t for Nana’s concerns, he might never get married.
Zachary scoffed coldly.
Rowan chose to stay silent after that.
Beep beep
Zachary’s phone received a new message.
He slowed down slightly to check the message.
It was from Mrs. Lane.
“Mr. Zachary, Mrs. Stone is coming over with Ms. Stone. Please don’t go upstairs when you send the Missus back.”
After reading it, he deleted the message.
Elisa and her mother were indeed moving quickly.
He continued to drive as if nothing had happened.
A few moments later, he sent a message to Josh: “Call me every ten minutes.”
Upon receiving this message, Josh was puzzled but soon figured it out after some thought.
After the group exited the expressway, Callum stopped the car and said to Zachary and Serenity, “We’ll part ways here.”
“Sure,” Zachary replied.
“Thank you, Callum,” Serenity said gratefully.
Callum smiled and responded, “We’re family, Serenity. Don’t worry about the formality. Just let us know if you need your brothers in the future.”
Serenity particularly appreciated this type of family and their way of being.
All the brothers, nephews, and uncles shared a strong bond. No matter who faced trouble, as long as someone called for help, the brothers would come to the rescue.
Grandma May had previously stated that she would never introduce a bad man to Serenity.
The elderly woman got out of the car and switched places with Rowan.
Reluctantly, Rowan climbed into his second brother’s car. He wished to follow his grandmother to live in Zachary’s small home, believing they would all be very happy together with Serenity around.
When would Zachary bring Serenity back to the old residence and reveal his true identity?
He would love to live with his sister-in-law protecting him. Even if the sky were to fall, his sister-in-law would hold it up.
“Seren, you didn’t sleep well last night. Why don’t you go home first to get some rest?”
Grandma May felt heartbroken seeing the dark circles under Serenity’s eyes. “Your sister and Sonny need to rest too. Cecilia is there to take care of them, so don’t worry.”
Zachary shared the information with Mrs. Lane, and Grandma May received it as well.
Audrey was well aware of Grandma May’s identity.
Previously, Grandma May had attempted to recruit Audrey from Stone Corporation. Later, upon learning that Audrey had become involved with the heir of the Stone family, she lamented for quite some time that she had acted a bit too late.
Although she failed to bring Audrey into the ranks of York Corporation’s elite, it did not stop the old woman from appreciating her.
Since Audrey had gone to Bright Boulevard, Grandma May could not visit, as Audrey would recognize her.
It was all that brat Zachary’s fault that the entire family had to play along with his charade.
