Married at First Sight Chapter 437

Chapter 437
Time flew by when one was having fun.
The day passed in the blink of an eye.
Serenity spent the day strolling, returned home, took a shower, and quickly fell asleep.
Grandma May noticed Serenity heading to her room and thought about trying her trick again. However, when she entered Serenity’s room, she found her already sound asleep, leaving Grandma May with no opportunity to showcase her acting skills.
After leaving Serenity’s room, she emerged to find her grandson sitting on the sofa watching TV. Though she felt disappointed, she couldn’t help but feel angry.
She approached Zachary and snatched the remote control from his hand. “Have you forgotten what you need to say and do when you come home?”
Zachary looked at his grandmother innocently and replied, “We’re already home. What do I need to say or do?”
He had made significant progress that day.
He held Serenity’s hand throughout the day.
Serenity also now talked to him about everything. Her trust in him was growing.
Grandma May was at a loss for words.
“Nana, you must be tired after playing all day. Should I ask Mrs. Lane to help you tidy up the guest room?”
Grandma May sighed and nodded in agreement.
Mrs. Lane had already cleaned the guest room without being asked by Zachary.
“You should rest early too,”
she advised him, then got up and went to the guest room.
Zachary lingered in the hall for a moment before turning off the TV and heading to his room. Once inside, he called Josh.
“I was just about to text you to see if it was a good time to call, but you called first. Great minds think alike.”
Zachary walked over to the set of sofas in his room, sat down, and asked casually, “What did you want to tell me?”
“I’ll be waiting at Beans and Cream for Ms.

“Sox at ten tomorrow morning. Please ask your wife to inform Ms. Sox for me.”

Zachary smiled. “So, you still care about this blind date?”

“You’re the one matchmaking for us. I need to show some enthusiasm so I don’t let you down.”

“Alright, I’ll talk to Serenity later and have her inform Ms. Sox. You’d better step up. Ms. Sox has high standards.”

Josh laughed. “You speak as if my standards are low. I wouldn’t bother meeting her if it were anyone else playing matchmaker.”

Although he often had to witness his boss’s public displays of affection, which made him envious, he still enjoyed the carefree life of being single. The heir of the Buchams was already thirty-three, yet he remained unmarried.

So why did Josh need to rush?

“You won’t regret it. Ms. Sox is a great match for you.”

Josh chuckled. “I could tell she was a good match just by how she lay down at Mrs. Dawson’s birthday party.”

Zachary paused before replying, “It seems she became quite famous after that incident.”

“Haha, that’s true. Now, whenever Ms. Sox’s name comes up, everyone thinks of the girl who lay on the floor at Mrs. Dawson’s banquet. You might not know this, but her aunt is Mrs. Lowe. You should have seen the look on her face back then! I laughed for days when I heard others describe it.”

Zachary said, “It’s a shame you missed out on the fun.”

“Exactly. From now on, I’ll attend every banquet I’m invited to so I don’t miss a good show.”

“Gossiper.”

“How else can I gather information for you if I don’t gossip?”

Zachary laughed and said, “Alright, I want you to find some information for me. I need to know the true extent of Hank Brown’s assets and whether he transferred any property in advance. I want solid evidence.”
