Married at First Sight Chapter 389

Chapter 389
Serenity selected a key from her keychain and handed it to Zachary, saying, “This is the key to my sister’s house.” Zachary’s dark eyes flickered with understanding; he was aware that Hank was engaged in a business entertainment event.
Since Zachary had asked Josh to investigate Hank and gather evidence of his infidelity, the inquisitive Josh went above and beyond by discreetly assigning someone to follow Hank.
As a result, Josh was fully aware of Hank’s activities as soon as Hank left his office.
During an evening with Serenity, Zachary took the opportunity to message Josh, instructing him to find a way to escalate the situation so that Hank and Jessica could make significant progress. This would provide evidence of Hank’s betrayal, giving Liberty a moral advantage when she filed for divorce.
Now that Hank and Jessica had finally slept together, one had to wonder whether it was a natural progression or a consequence of Zachary’s interference.
Although Zachary couldn’t determine which it was, the outcome remained unchanged. “Do you know which hotel they’re at?” he asked. “My sister won’t tell me because she doesn’t want me to go,” Serenity replied, feeling somewhat helpless. At a critical moment when Liberty needed support, she had pushed Serenity aside, insisting on facing this challenge alone.
“I’ll call a friend to find out for you. He’s excellent at uncovering information.”
“It’s so late…”
“No worries, I’ll treat him to dinner another day.”
Zachary would simply give Josh an extra day off.
“Serenity, don’t leave. Please wait for me here and give me your car keys. I’ll wake Mrs. Lane and ask her to babysit Sonny at Liberty’s house while I accompany you to find Liberty,” Zachary instructed Serenity.
As Serenity handed him the car keys, he took them and returned to the house.
He then called Josh.

As he knocked on Mrs. Lane’s door, Josh was fortunate that he was a night owl, often waking up late. He would only arrive at the office early if there was juicy gossip to hear; otherwise, he typically got there later than Zachary.

Josh was still wide awake when he received a call from Zachary.

“Where is Hank now?” Zachary asked in a low voice.

“He’s at the Grand Hotel under the Stone Group. What’s wrong? Is your sister-in-law looking for him?”

“Got it.”

With that, Zachary hung up the phone, leaving Josh speechless. Zachary hadn’t even given him a chance to indulge in some gossip.

After waking Mrs. Lane, Zachary quickly explained the situation and rushed back to his room. He grabbed a black marker and painted the entire left side of his face to create the illusion of a birthmark.

Once he finished painting, he hurried out the door. Mrs. Lane had already left; she was worried about Sonny, who was still young, and rushed over when she learned that Liberty had to leave the house.

Serenity was waiting for Zachary at the front door. She was growing impatient and considered leaving without him several times, but she didn’t know Liberty’s whereabouts.

When she saw Zachary emerge from the house, she urged, “Come on, my sister might be… Why did you draw all over your face?”
