Charlie texted back: [Yes, give them a good beating first, then tie them up and send them to me.] <\/p>\n

Shoving his phone into his pocket, Charlie turned to Jerome and Lily, his voice icy. \u201cThe parents will bear the consequences of their child\u2019s actions. I\u2019ll have both of your fathers brought here; let\u2019s see what they have to say about your behavior!\u201d<\/p>\n

Jerome\u2019s face darkened. \u201cI suggest you don\u2019t cross certain lines, punk. If you do, you\u2019ll find yourself dead in a ditch once my men arrive!\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlie scoffed. \u201cTell your men to hurry up; I\u2019m growing impatient.\u201d<\/p>\n

Just as Jerome opened his mouth to retaliate, the ward door swung open, revealing a burly man accompanied by seven or eight underlings.<\/p>\n

Upon spotting Zaz, Jerome pointed at Charlie. \u201cZaz, it\u2019s this little brat! Teach him a lesson!\u201d<\/p>\n

With a frown, Zaz spoke in a chilling tone, \u201cSo, you\u2019re the one who riled up my brother?\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlie smirked coldly and nodded. \u201cWhat of it? Are you planning to beat me up as he instructed?\u201d<\/p>\n

Zaz looked puzzled; Charlie was a stranger to him, and he found it strange that Charlie showed no fear.<\/p>\n

After a long pause, Zaz asked warily, \u201cHey punk, where are you from?\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlie replied dismissively, \u201cI\u2019m from home.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jerome chimed in, \u201cZaz, this brat is a boytoy. He lives off women!\u201d<\/p>\n

Then, Jerome leaned closer to Zaz and whispered, \u201cZaz, this brat has no connections. You can beat him up as much as you please. I\u2019ll take responsibility if anything goes wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cA boytoy?\u201d Zaz let out a sarcastic laugh. \u201cSure! Let\u2019s see if he can still rely on women after I break him!\u201d<\/p>\n

Without waiting for Charlie to respond, Zaz signaled his underlings. \u201cLet\u2019s finish this punk off, damn it!\u201d<\/p>\n

Jerome shot Charlie a mocking grin. \u201cHey, Wade, any last words?\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlie ignored him, focusing solely on Zaz, and finally stated coldly, \u201cKneel down, and I might consider sparing you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stunned, Zaz rubbed his ear and frowned. \u201cWhat did you say? Repeat that, and I promise you\u2019ll meet a swift end!\u201d<\/p>\n

Just then, a loud voice echoed from outside the door. \u201cZaz, Mr. Wade told you to kneel down\u2014are you deaf?\u201d<\/p>\n
