\u201cI have to stop him and convince him to buy the top-of-the-line Audi A8, even if it means I have to grovel!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAbsolutely!\u201d<\/p>\n

In an instant, a swarm of Audi salespeople dashed out to surround him.<\/p>\n

\u201cSir! Come take a look at the latest top-spec Audi A8 we have in our showroom!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSir! Our A8 is incredibly powerful, featuring a W12 engine that outperforms the BMW 760\u2019s V12!\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlie raised an eyebrow, intrigued. \u201cReally? That sounds impressive!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes!\u201d One eager Audi salesman stepped forward quickly, explaining, \u201cLet me clarify, our W12 engine has two sides, and you can deactivate one side whenever you want. It\u2019s more fuel-efficient if you only use half of the cylinders!\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlie scoffed, \u201cAre you serious? Why would I buy a twelve-cylinder car just to turn off six for fuel savings? I might as well just get a six-cylinder car!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cUm\u2026 Ah\u2026 I\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

The salesman\u2019s face turned a deep shade of crimson as he realized his blunder.<\/p>\n

Charlie smirked, \u201cI can see what you\u2019re thinking. You\u2019re frustrated because I bought a BMW 760 yesterday and now you desperately want me as your customer, right?\u201d<\/p>\n

The group of salespeople nodded vigorously.<\/p>\n

Charlie chuckled. \u201cLet me make it clear: it\u2019s too late! You ignored me and treated me dismissively yesterday. Today, I\u2019m out of your league!\u201d<\/p>\n

Beep beep!<\/p>\n

He honked his little scooter and declared, \u201cMove aside, I\u2019m heading to the BMW showroom to buy another car!\u201d<\/p>\n

Suddenly, the BMW sales team rushed out and shouted, \u201cYou Audi guys, what do you think you\u2019re doing? Are you trying to poach our customers? Can\u2019t you see he\u2019s not interested in you? Step aside! If you block him again, I\u2019ll call the press and expose this!\u201d<\/p>\n

The Audi salespeople sighed in defeat and retreated.<\/p>\n

The manager of the BMW showroom approached Charlie personally and said respectfully, \u201cGood morning, Mr. Wade! Are you looking to purchase another car today?\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlie nodded and replied, \u201cDo you have a BMW 530? I\u2019ll pay cash!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAbsolutely! We have it in stock!\u201d<\/p>\n

The manager was thrilled. A 760 yesterday and a 530 today\u2014he was indeed a valuable customer!<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease follow me, and I\u2019ll show you the car!\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlie hummed in agreement as he followed the manager into the showroom.<\/p>\n

Inside, he spotted a BMW 530 on display. As he sat inside to assess it, he noticed that while the exterior bore a strong resemblance to the 7 Series, the interior fell short. Nonetheless, it was luxurious enough for his aging and pretentious father-in-law.<\/p>\n

Just as he was about to pull out his card to complete the purchase, he heard a familiar voice nearby, \u201cOh dear, I really love the BMW X6! Could you buy me one, please?\u201d<\/p>\n

Charlie turned his head and saw Lily, Douglas\u2019s fianc\u00e9e, clinging to the arm of a stranger, speaking in a flirtatious and intimate tone.<\/p>\n

Frowning with irritation, Charlie thought, \u2018Lily just called this man \u2018dear.\u2019 Is she cheating on Douglas?\u2019<\/p>\n

Anger bubbled within him. He despised unfaithful women lacking moral integrity.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Douglas was diligently working to advance his career, while this woman was betraying him! How revolting!<\/p>\n

He overheard the man leeringly teasing her, \u201cIf I buy you the X6 now, how would you explain this to Douglas?\u201d<\/p>\n

Lily responded with disdain, \u201cDouglas? Ugh, don\u2019t even mention him! He\u2019s just a loser! He\u2019s not wealthy, has no talent, and offers nothing! I\u2019d never be with him if it weren\u2019t for his honest and down-to-earth nature!\u201d<\/p>\n
